"Brian Simmons and Ambris Builders never finished our contracted project, and what's worse, did shoddy work that had to be pulled out and re-constructed by another company. They stole our money, misappropriating our construction loan funds to other projects and personal expenditures like trucks, tools, and other property. He didn't pay many of his subcontractors throughout his time on the project. He turned our back yard into a gigantic trash dump, throwing bottles, cans, cigarette butts, construction trash, even old shoes into a large pile of trash, because there was no dumpster on site. He rushed to put up uneven drywall in order to cover up structural issues and draw more money from our loan. He walked away with tens of thousands of dollars that were meant to be paid to the lumber company for materials. We are over a year behind on moving in and now picking up the financial pieces of the incredible mess Ambris Builders and Brian Simmons left. Run the other direction."

"Chad Thompson of KST started project in April and still hasn’t finished phase 1 as of 9/7/18. They stopped showing up August 3 and we have not seen them since. I have called and texted him every day since but he refuses to answer. We still don’t have counter tops, sink, disposal and dishwasher installed. At this point we just want our counter top that he says he ordered and is in and fence panels. DO NOT hire this company. I know of two other family’s that he has done this to."
