We also have had no sulfur smell issues, whatsoever, even with an older 60-ft shallow well supply source. The new OA Smith electric unit is working perfectly. The combination of Lake Construction and the OA Smith water heater is a good one."

"Showed up a few minutes late. Great communication however as I was on the road and my younger brother had to show him the tasks. Very nice and helpful. Only issue was he spent over 2 hours out looking for a light fixture that would fit this abnormal cutout above sink. This task was not completed. Also the handyman asked to take our used appliances in the garage. I asked him to name a price, he tried to negotiate for them for free. Overall everything else was good and would recommend the company."

Designs of Akron-Canton came in assessed my problem gave me an idea of what should be done what a great price. The owner Kevan was very professional, and very easy to talk and the quote seemed very reasonable so honestly I just didn’t have the time or patience to keep having people come in, so I just went with them and I’m glad I did. they did a great job and they did the job in a timely manner and best of all they didn’t leave a mess around my house."

"Bob came out promptly, provided an estimate, and started the work in about a week. He worked around 4 or 5 hours each day, and the project took 6 working days. He was able to save enough old peach tiles to make an attractive border around the middle of the shower. The tile work is excellent and looks very nice. He cleaned up very well. There were some disturbing aspects, however. He ruined two hand towels in the bathroom by leaning the shower door on them. After he had re-installed the shower door, I noticed it was not on straight and raised concern about it. He attempted to straighten it, but it was not better. He said he would come back if it did not work out, but I did not ask him to come back for the door because I was upset that he had made new holes in the old peach tiles and didn't want him to do any further damage to these tiles which cannot be replaced. He had already broken one of these, and the extra holes cannot be covered up in any way. After he left, the sink next to the shower was clogged up. When I called him about the sink, he said that he wasn't anywhere near the sink and wasn't responsible for it being clogged up. He had only washed his hands in it. I think he should have taken responsibility for the clogged drain and asked his plumbing colleague to unclog it. Instead, I hired a plumber to fix it, which cost me an extra $160.91. When asked why the sink was clogged, the plumber told me it was quite puzzling, as there were pieces of ground cement in it. I then called the shower door company and ended up having to get a new shower door for $368, as they would have charged me $299 to come out and reinstall the old one. While I am now pleased with the finished product, it took two additional companies and an extra $528.91 to complete it."

"I am delighted to have found Jaime’ Quality Home Improvements! He did a total rebuild of our wet bar in the family room and a remodel in the half bath. He did all building of the bar, flooring, installed lighting, wall coverings, electrical, plumbing, etc. His work and attention to detail are amazing. "My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations."
