Kelly & Jack were excellent!!! They are hardworking and did an excellent job of fixing our wobbling steps & resetting our pavers which were sinking due to improper installation by a prior landscaper. They arrived on time & completed the job quickly and efficiently! We would recommend them for any paver installation!

Jack, Kelly and team are the absolute best to work with. Kelly is a color and design wizard. Jack carries out the designed work with skilled precision and has a great eye for detail. They were very responsive to my requests for “small” design changes along the way.

Outstanding! If you’re reading reviews to help you decide whether or not to contract with Bricks and Stones, we strongly endorse them. Kelly and Jack were an absolute pleasure to work with from the early conceptual design phase through to project completion. The project involved building a 150 linear foot retaining wall (3’ H) with a six-step (6’ W x 2’ D) stairway, replacing a concrete walkway with pavers, and replacing two wood garden beds with blocks. They carefully cut and relocated the old concrete walkway, preserving it to be reused as a path and also helped relocate some of the existing landscaping. We explained our ideas for the wall with Kelly and Jack, including our concern for minimalizing its impact on the natural wetlands the surrounded the project site. Kelly and Jack fully appreciated our vision and recommended the use of VERSA-LOK over Unilock. Kelly’s grasp of the product and her ability to explain in detail its advantages and the design options available is incomparable. My husband and I are both engineers who like to fully research a project before meeting with contractors. From our initial meetings with Kelly it was clear that her depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to explore options would be a perfect fit. Whatever direction we wanted to explore in terms of price, product choice, or design features, Kelly was able to provide multiple options without a personal attachment to our preferences. This truly unusual customer-focused approach to the job is evident throughout the culture of their small company. While most of the job description and contract discussions were conducted with Kelly, when Jack arrived to begin the project it was clear that he was fully aware of every detail that had been discussed and each decision that still needed to be considered. Kelly and Jack were in frequent contact with each other and were also very responsive to any communications from us. There is no doubt that they really love what they do. Jack’s onsite protocol is stellar. He and his crew arrived each day exactly when they said they would, which was 8:00AM, even on days when it was threatening to rain. They worked 10 hours days, Monday thru Thursday, and frequently carpooled to reduce the number of cars parked in front of the yard. Jack engineered the project. He had a vision and plan from the start and was able to deal with the technical challenges that arose during the weeks they were here. He knew instinctively when it was important to involve us in resolving issues. As every project is different, this is an invaluable quality and one we very much appreciated. Jack and his crew were very respectful, being careful to minimize their impact on the property beyond the jobsite. Each evening the team spent time cleaning up the site while Jack reviewed progress and next steps with us. Throughout the project, Jack’s artistry and love for the work was obvious. We think it shows in the final product.

Working with Kelly & her company was a pleasure every step of the way.  They gave an incredible amount of personal attention, really listening to our vision for what we wanted while providing suggestions & ideas we had not considered; their help & patience while we picked out the type & color combinations was really appreciated.
We asked if we could split the installation into two separate visits as when we first got the estimate, we had only the concrete pad poured not the full driveway.  "No problem," according to Kelly, and she was true to her word.  The first installation was in August of last year and when spring rolled around, Kelly contacted us to find out when they could complete the second one. We didn't have to track her down, remind her, no change in labor estimate--a true professional.
The job the crews did was beautiful and fast.  They hauled all the sod and dirt to our woods, cleaned up completely.
We have gotten many, many compliments on the walkway and can't say enough good things about Bricks & Stones.  We will, without hesitation, use them again for our future patio & walkway plans.
They provide the sort of service & craftsmanship that's hard to come by these days.

I called to make an appointment for an estimate. We discussed the job briefly and they agreed to come out in about 2 days since I had a tight timeline to get the job done. Since I had already purchased my pavers they had to work within the confines of what was available. They were very agreeable and helpful in suggesting several different approaches to getting what we wanted. They came up with an idea that we hadn't considered that solved a space problem we had. Even though we gave them an impossible time line to complete the job (3 days) they had a full crew on the ground the next morning and completed the job in a day and a half. Kelly and Jack were wonderful to work with and Dave and the crew did a great job of installing and cleanup. They even helped us by moving the pile of unused materials to our garage for storage. Terrific job and we will definately use them again.

I selected this company after they did a very elaborate and complex job for my neighbors which was beautiful. I just had a very simple and small project for them but they were happy to do it. I was very pleased with their work.

Very good experience but I expected this because I have used this company in the past for other work. I called and left message requesting an estimate. Jack came out within a few days and advised me how to fix my problem. The work started within 2 weeks. The crew was very professional. They did there work with a minimum of distruption to me. They were relatively quiet and careful about not creating a mess. All work was completed in 2 days. The quality of work is excellent; I look like I have a new patio.

Wonderful experience. Jack and his crew were prompt, professional, skilled craftsman. Jack came out to give me an estimate. We talked about correcting the problem with my existing patio; he was very honest about what to expect. He advised me that the existing oil stains would be improved but not disappear when the patio was power washed and sealed. He also told me that the addition would not be an exact match because the stone for the original portion of the patio had faded. In addition, I had initially wanted the steps to be the same width as the patio. Jack said that I might want to reconsider the size because the steps might appear to be to massive and overwhelm the rest of the patio; also this would save me money. We decided to make the steps half the width of the patio. The end result showed that Jack's suggestion was a good one; the wider steps would have been too massive looking for my yard. Overall, my experience with this company was excellent.

Jack Faught gave us a card. They came out and did an estimate and we just turned them loose. They did a beautiful job. I thought he was very honest. His price was no where near what another guy was going to charge us. Tree ring and garden wall cost $1,924; and the pavers $1,811. They tore out 5 side walks. The estimate for a pull off driveway $5,650, and regular driveway $9,500. He quoted us only $13,000 to do both. He warrants his work for 2 years. I would not hesitate to call him anytime.
