"This company did not properly install anything. Light switches, door locks, AV equipment were all improperly done. They got plaster on a $4500 projector screen and then refused to have it repaired. They attempted to invoice for materials and services not delivered. They did not complete the job, and stopped responding to calls and emails. I found them to be incompetent and dishonest, and would stay away from them."

I have a 30K entertainment system that the last company botched installation on and then kept charging me for call outs but still never fixed their work. So we brought in Tamas. He has incredible integrity (advising the right equipment vs. the equipment he would earn the best kick back on). He has amazing work ethic (answering my questions and refining things after other companies would be finished and long gone). Can't recommend him more highly and already plan on hiring him to do everything when I move into my new apartment."

"Purchased a large Friedrich AC window unit without a hitch from P.C. Richards by telephone. Was looking for a transom installation of unit, which is the top half of the window. I usually use a specialist because retailers only advertize standard window (lower half) installations. Salesman said he never heard of transom installations, but found the option on their computer system and set it up. Unit was delivered on time, but communication breakdown occurred between store and installer, who expected to install in lower half and didn't have the parts for transom installation. Followed up with salesman and was assured problem would be rectified. We rescheduled for a few days later and the unit was installed appropriately without a hitch. I wasn't too upset as most retailers don't do transom installations as they are more difficult (and more expensive) to do. So this was a special request of sorts. I prefer the transom mounts because you can still open and close the window and can leave the unit in all year. The Friedrich AC unit itself is fine, though I've noticed some deterioration in Friedrich quality over the years as I've replaced other units. Cooling is fine, though a noticeable clicking occur, which appears related to the thermostat. Louvers also rattle a bit when the compressor is running. Rattle disappears when plastic cover is removed."
