Get matched with top subcontractors in Pound Ridge, NY

"Over the course of 2 years restoring the interior of our house, we dealt with many professionals. Bud Moore is the only one I can recommend without hesitation. It was a severely stressful time in our lives, and Bud was always extremely responsive, friendly, and truthful. He gave us hope there was actually a light at the end of the tunnel. When he said he would be at the house, he was there. I am an interior designer by trade, and had a very particular vision and standards when it came to how I wanted the home to look. Bud was patient and truly made the effort to understand and collaborate, and as a result exceeded my expectations. I love my home! The attention to detail was excellent, and he will still come to the house to correct any minor punch list items that occur. His subcontractors were all very friendly and respectful as well. This was Part I of a major renovation, and we will without a doubt be hiring him for Part 2. Of all the awful people we dealt with, I am so thankful that we chose the absolute correct contractor for our job, because in the end, he is the most important person on the job. I shudder to think, and know it is true, that we would still not be back in our house if we had chosen another contractor."

"I manage real estate so I am used to working with contractors. This was for the replacement of windows in multiple rooms and I was impressed with the quality of the finishing and professionalism also has this contractor dealt with the unexpected issues when the arose. Definitely recommend."

"It hard to overstate how wonderful an experience my family had with Hire Her Home Improvement. Angela and her team were consummate professionals from our first contact to when the job wrapped. Angela (the owner) was impressively responsive, collaborative and spoke frankly about what work was feasible, what would be challenging and what things would cost. Her friendly, frank and collaborative nature made me trust her immediately. We had planned to start the attic renovation in mid March but a slot opened up in her schedule and we wound up starting six weeks early. The first thing that caught my attention was how prompt they were. If the start time was 8am, they would be outside at 7:55. As a professional project manager, that really made me happy. Angela’s crew (Jason and Steve) and the subcontractors were all expert craftsmen and worked efficiently, collaboratively and took wonder care to protect the rest of my home. One instance I want to call out was how one day I was delayed in coming home from running an errand. While I was out, the work wrapped for the day but Jason didn’t have a key lock the house. So Jason had the rest of the crew go home and he waited on my porch until I got home. I was just blown away. Last but not least, I want to talk about the work. They took a completely unfinished uninsulated 350 sq foot space in my attic and turned it in to a fantastic office space that’s quickly become my favorite room in the house. Everything was beautifully finished and every detail was considered. On her final walk through, Angela ever saw a few small things that she wanted to push further and had the crew come back and make a few tweaks. From start to finish the whole project took just over three weeks. Friends, if you’re looking to have anything done to improve your home. Look no further than Hire Her Home Improvement. You’ll be glad you did."

"Gustavo and his team did an excellent job with the renovations. They had a limited time to complete all the work and they met the deadline. There work is impeccable and we are very satisfied with the outcome. We would definitely recommend him and hire him for any future renovations"

" Hector and his crew were professionals and completed the work in a timely manner. The stonework is beautiful and I am enjoying it this spring and summer! I would definitely hire Hector and his crew for future work on the house. "

"I called; he came in got the job done was on time; neat clean and finished quickly. They just worked and got the job done."

"This was the second project Joe and his team did for our house. He added and installed an entirely new bathroom in our basement along with new flooring as well. He helped turn a drab and dank "finished" basement into a beautiful modern living space. We have an antique house with irregular angles and measurements but Joe's was in constant communication and worked with us to make sure if any obstacles that arose were dealt with correctly and thoroughly. Very much recommend!"
