"Over the course of 2 years restoring the interior of our house, we dealt with many professionals. Bud Moore is the only one I can recommend without hesitation. It was a severely stressful time in our lives, and Bud was always extremely responsive, friendly, and truthful. He gave us hope there was actually a light at the end of the tunnel. When he said he would be at the house, he was there. I am an interior designer by trade, and had a very particular vision and standards when it came to how I wanted the home to look. Bud was patient and truly made the effort to understand and collaborate, and as a result exceeded my expectations. I love my home! The attention to detail was excellent, and he will still come to the house to correct any minor punch list items that occur. His subcontractors were all very friendly and respectful as well. This was Part I of a major renovation, and we will without a doubt be hiring him for Part 2. Of all the awful people we dealt with, I am so thankful that we chose the absolute correct contractor for our job, because in the end, he is the most important person on the job. I shudder to think, and know it is true, that we would still not be back in our house if we had chosen another contractor."

"It hard to overstate how wonderful an experience my family had with Hire Her Home Improvement. Angela and her team were consummate professionals from our first contact to when the job wrapped. Angela (the owner) was impressively responsive, collaborative and spoke frankly about what work was feasible, what would be challenging and what things would cost. We had planned to start the attic renovation in mid March but a slot opened up in her schedule and we wound up starting six weeks early. The first thing that caught my attention was how prompt they were. If the start time was 8am, they would be outside at 7:55. As a professional project manager, that really made me happy. Angela’s crew (Jason and Steve) and the subcontractors were all expert craftsmen and worked efficiently, collaboratively and took wonder care to protect the rest of my home. One instance I want to call out was how one day I was delayed in coming home from running an errand. While I was out, the work wrapped for the day but Jason didn’t have a key lock the house. So Jason had the rest of the crew go home and he waited on my porch until I got home. I was just blown away. Last but not least, I want to talk about the work. They took a completely unfinished uninsulated 350 sq foot space in my attic and turned it in to a fantastic office space that’s quickly become my favorite room in the house. Everything was beautifully finished and every detail was considered. On her final walk through, Angela ever saw a few small things that she wanted to push further and had the crew come back and make a few tweaks. "I'm that person who has a general distrust of contractors due to a few truly terrible experiences. I blame myself for these bad experiences because I didn't vet the people I hired throughly enough. With the retaining wall bordering my driveway was collapsing and the driveway beginning to split, I knew this wasn't a project I could brush off, so I began an intense search for contractors. Using Angie, I found two contractors I liked for the job, but hired Hector Santucci because he presented a better plan for the restoration of that portion of the driveway that was going to be damaged while removing the old wall. Santucci Brothers has shown me there are good, professional, honest contractors out there, if you just take the time to find them. Hector Santucci and his crew were professional, polite and excellent at their jobs. These are some true craftsmen. Not only is my new wall massive, strong, built to last, but it's quite beautiful. In particular, while the mortar joints on the old wall, which was built by hacks, were three, sometimes as much as four inches wide, Hector's crew tightened everything up, fitting the stones together beautifully, even recessing the mortar on the face. When they were done, they cleaned everything up, power washed the driveway, and even planted new grass. Santucci Brothers stayed on estimate, stayed on schedule, and lived up to everything they had promised me. Communicating with them was easy and efficient."

He helped turn a drab and dank "finished" basement into a beautiful modern living space.
