"We ordered a pantry cabinet in June. In November they called to say it was finished being built. It would be installed soon. Well 3 months later we finally had it installed today and I am not happy at all. They brought the wrong crown molding, no edge molding for the floor. The installer installed the pull out drawers and the screws that were included with them went through the side of the exposed cabinet. So half the drawers aren’t screwed into the side. The 5th pull out drawer was all scratched up. So as of right now I have a huge pantry cabinet that I can not use until they get all the correct parts to fix the cabinet we paid for, which means another month before they get them and can schedule another time to come out and fix it. I would never recommend kitchen world to anyone."

"Excellent price. Superb quality. Customer service is a fair rating since frustrating to get a callback to check status of order. To be fair, was advised upfront that job would be about 2 weeks... which ended being closer to 3 weeks. They were apologetic for delay and helpful entire time. Would use again just maybe not during busy season."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

How long it takes to install a kitchen faucet depends on the complexity of the installation. For example, replacing a faulty faucet with a working version of the same type may only take an hour or two for an experienced DIYer to complete.

However, if your plumbing system needs modifications, then it may take seven or eight hours for you or a pro to prep and protect the work area, remove the old faucet, and install a new faucet and supply lines.

You can remove air from your shower pipes in a few simple steps. Turn off the water at the main water supply and open all the faucets in your home, starting with those closest to the water supply and working away from those. Let the faucets run dry, then flush all the toilets in your home until there is no more water in them. From there, turn the water supply back on and let it flow for 10 to 15 minutes until the sputtering stops. To finish, turn off your faucets and flush your toilets in the reverse order.

Clean regularly, avoid abrasive cleaners, and inspect seals and jets for functionality.

Yes, frozen underground pipes can burst. When water inside the pipe freezes, it expands, increasing pressure on the pipe walls. If the pressure becomes too great, it can cause the pipe to crack or burst, leading to significant water damage when the ice eventually thaws.

When learning how to design a plumbing system for a house, it's helpful to know that ABS pipes have fallen out of favor because they are less safe and efficient compared to alternatives. ABS pipes are made from a chemical called bisphenol (BPA) that may cause neurological and hormonal effects. Due to the fact that it has a lower melting point, ABS can also be flammable in high-temperature situations. Finally, ABS is prone to warping caused by heat and UV exposure. It can also fracture in frozen conditions.
