We ordered a pantry cabinet in June. In November they called to say it was finished being built. It would be installed soon. Well 3 months later we finally had it installed today and I am not happy at all. They brought the wrong crown molding, no edge molding for the floor. The installer installed the pull out drawers and the screws that were included with them went through the side of the exposed cabinet. So half the drawers aren’t screwed into the side. The 5th pull out drawer was all scratched up. So as of right now I have a huge pantry cabinet that I can not use until they get all the correct parts to fix the cabinet we paid for, which means another month before they get them and can schedule another time to come out and fix it. I would never recommend kitchen world to anyone.

I'm still waiting two years later to get a door replaced that they cant seem to get right after 8-10 attempts. Close inspection of other cabinets revealed a lot of errors. Either paint didnt match, holes drilled wrong, bubbles/ dust on paint or screwed up when installing. I keep getting the runaround. Now im told that i have to expect to have white bubbles or dust on painted surfaces from this company. My planner said she has nothing to do with service issues , they have a dept for that. It has been two months since they took the last door back. Heard nothing recently.

From the beginning of our project the store representative Sam Ciraolo, assisted us in the design and purchase of the cabinetry and granite counter top, for our remodeling of our kitchen and dining room. This included a home visit, to make final measurements and make any necessary adjustments in what cabinetry was needed. The items purchased were installed by a private contractor and met all our expectations. Just as impressive, after a year of use, when a couple of items needed adjustments, Kitchen World sent out a repair person, who made the necessary repairs without charge.

The cabinets look great and the installers were fantastic! Good work takes time and the installers did a great job.
The sales person was sometimes difficult to work with. I had done my own design and gave it to the person, and we wanted to see our design in their program, with the new cabinets. It took three times for us to have the sales person use our design/layout. The sales person was trying to put their own different design, and for whatever reason, they did not listen to us. After several meetings and emails, the sales person finally used the design/layout we requested. The sales person responded to calls and email anywhere from 1-3 business days. One response we heard three times was and quot;Oh, I'm working on a few other jobs right now, one of them is a big job that I have to get done.and quot; Well, I guess my $24,000 is not as important.
Then, after the design/layout was finalized, the sales person said, I am going on vacation in two days, so if you want to get the order in to Candlelight, you have to place the order by tomorrow and have your deposit ready. And no other sales person can access your design/layout, so if you don't order it now, it will be three weeks longer.
I don't agree with those type of business tactics to pressure people in to making a decision like that for $24,000.00.
I think the cabinet price was relatively high. Their counter top price was 40% higher that the company we used. The cabinet handles we wanted, Kitchen World quoted $32.00 each and we found the exact same thing online for $3.52 each.
The bottom line is that we would use Kitchen World in the future, but not that particular sales person.

Kitchen World was very responsive to our needs, desires and budget. Our designer worked with us on all details, was available to answer questions that came up along the way and ordered additional materials to accommodate our changes.

Kitchen World gave my wife a quote with a drawing of the new kitchen. The salesman said he was sending his best crew. We were told the remodeling would take approx. 6 weeks and a temporary sink would be hooked up so we had water. We were also told that the remodel included the door trim as pictured. The job was started, and then it took constant calling to get them to return to do more work. We never had a temporary sink. After the cabinets, countertop and appliances were installed, my wife made payment in full because they told her it was necessary. However, the cabinet trim, door trim and other misc. items were not complete. I was told that this crew no longer worked for Kitchen World, and another worker was sent over. This worker did a minimal amount of work, basically caulking the granite, and then we never heard from him and learned he was fired. After a visit to Kitchen World and numerous calls and complaints about the workmanship, they sent another worker over. This was approx. 6 months after the job was supposed to be completed and had been paid in full. This new worker was good, and had to remove the backsplash tiles, redrywall, and install new tiles. He also had to complete the cabinet trim, replace a defective cabinet piece, regrout the countertops because he said they were not done properly. The salesman then said that he never agreed to do the door trim, and the picture he presented at the time of sale was only a "rendering", even though the workers removed the door trim and trashed it. Finally, the owner said he would pay for one-half of the wood for the door trim. This was approx. 8 mos. after the job was supposed to be done. We also had to buy new window trim because when the backsplash had to be redone, the window trim no longer fit. Approx. 1 mo. ago, our disposal came unattached, and their workman had to change the plumbing supply because he said it was not connected properly. The entire experience was a nightmare, the company was not responsive, and the owner refused to take responsibility for his salesman's representations, costing me more money. Obviously, I would not do business with Kitchen World in the future.

We were very pleased with Kitchen World. It was very well done. We were very pleased with the job they did. We would definitely recommend them to other people. The price you pay varies tremendously depending on the level of cabinet quality that you purchase and the type of countertop you get. We went with a middle of the road cabinet and a laminate countertop to save money. But if you wanted the top of the line in granite, you're going to pay a whole lot more, naturally.

They did very well and the contractor even said that he never worked with such a group that was so easy to work with. They came back afterwards to see everything was okay and I don't know about the price since it billed through the contractor. They cabinets were available when they said it would be available and before I agreed to them it was here.

The work they did was fine. Everything turned out the way I wanted. They did out kitchen when we build the house and we went back to them for more cabinets. I just little disappointed with their communication. The quality of their work was very good. The quality of their work was very good.

Our 38 year old kitchen was remodeled by Kitchen World. We purchased our appliances from them at a great price. We received a free stainless Kitchen Aid dishwasher with the purchase of their Candlelight Cabinets. The salesman/designer Tom did an excellent job of sketching our new floorplan. We were very happy with the workmanship of Bill, who hung the cabinets, installed the new lighting, installed the new appliances and did some scraping of the old popcorn ceiling and repainting it. Our only concern was with the application of the subway tile backsplash grout. After several calls, an appointment was set up for July, 2011 for their worker to address this issue. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the products and workmanship. The cleanup was excellent!

I had the work done through a friend of mine. They were very good cabinets. The quality was very good for the price. Overall, they were very good. A few things didn't come in and didn't look right when they came in, but they had no problems exchanging them for another door or accommodating things. They weren't excellent, but they were good. Their responsiveness was very good. I would use them again in the future.

They are a good, reliable company. He delivered the unit in a heavy snowstorm on his way home from work. This really impressed me. This is an expensive garbage disposal because it is a top-of-the-line model. I have used them in the past for some remodeling and have always been pleased.

Poorly. Plans were finalized with a down payment on 11/28/05. Work began on 1/16/06. For days at a time, nothing was done. All appliances were delivered in the wrong color. The made-to-order counter tops were the wrong color. Over a period of time, four different refrigerators were delivered including the wrong color, the wrong model, a fill in (so I could keep food), and the final model. One cracked cabinet door was replaced three times with a door too small, a door in the wrong style, and finally the correct door. The kitchen was finally complete on 7/18/06.

"We regret that the member was not happy with his experience with our company. We did everything we could to make him happy. After this job, we changed the way that our orders are finalized in order to eliminate the chance of a misunderstanding as to the final selections made by the customer. Furthermore, his replacement door was ordered under warranty and technically does not fall within the scope of "finishing" the job. All of our cabinets come with a minimum 5 year warranty. I would encourage anyone who has read this review to read the other reviews that have been posted about our company. We have tracked our customer satisfaction for years and most of our business is earned by referrals."

I was impressed with Kitchen World Distributing. They did an excellent job. The crew was very organized and polite. We didn't have any setbacks and they made the whole process go as smooth as they could. Everything looks absolutely wonderful.
