Small jobs welcome

"Jason Perna of Perna Construction is a master of his craft. Jason remodeled our kitchen and bathroom, repaired and resanded flooring, and repainted our apartment. He and his employees were totally knowledgeable about every phase of the remodeling. He put in new sheet rock in the bathroom and kitchen. Jason ordered new custom cabinets for the kitchen that are beautifully made. The tile work in the bathroom is perfect. When it came to the paint job, Jason analyzed the ceiling and determined it had became bumpy from heat and smoke from the fire in an adjacent apartment. He sanded the ceiling first before laying down the correct primer for fire damage. In all, our apartment was a big job and Jason Perna did a fantastic remodeling. He’s also a terrifically nice guy."

"Excellent contractors! We keep hiring them. They are extremely efficient. And they do it all. They worked on our bk condo by adding a staircase and building a second floor from scratch., as well as a total kitchen remodel. They also did a complete cosmetic update renovation to my mom’s house in queens. You know you have great contractors when you go back to them to get more work done."

"I hired BEX contracting to paint my apartment. The process was a breeze, they provided COI as well as a fair and clear proposal. The team was clean and neat. They carefully covered our furniture and protected it during the paint. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend BEX Contracting."

"I worked with Nicolas and his team as soon as Covid 19 restrictions on contracting work in NYC had been lifted. I know that they were finishing jobs frozen in April as well as trying to handle the huge volume of requests for quarantine induced new projects; I know this accounts for some/most of the punctuality issues. The thing that I like most with Gaudioso, is that the associates that come into my apartment are always very focused and respectful. There is always ample manpower to get the job done as quickly as possible and they do a great job cleaning up after themselves. I've had my coop for almost 20 years and I finally feel that I have found contractors that I can trust."

In-law suite floor plans almost always include at least one bedroom, a bathroom, and a combination kitchen/living room area or separate spaces for the kitchen and living room. Larger in-law suites built in accessory dwelling units separate from your main structure can feature multiple bedrooms, dining rooms, and entertainment rooms in addition to the necessities.

Yes, designers collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure a smooth construction process.

It costs between $20,000 and $50,000 on average, depending on materials and labor costs. Before construction begins, it’s possible that purchasing land is the priciest step in the process.
