Rent hikes costed me $700 monthly ($100 more each year) Told me to pay for my own pest control for the rodents and roaches at this property and won’t pay me back (totally breaks the law and doesn’t care) Using rent fixing as well. Run for the hills, hopefully these terrible deplorable peoples will shut their doors soon."

While more is seemingly always better when it comes to energy efficiency, your house does need some interaction with its environment. Adding too much insulation can affect your home's ability to breathe. Breathing simply means ventilating itself to reduce accumulated moisture within it. Too much insulation can physically block the venting ability or be enough to trap the moisture and damage the insulation or the house.

Your house may be cold even if the heat is on because of bad insulation, gaps in doors, small holes pulling hot air from the home, or excess humidity. The heater itself might be malfunctioning. If you’re using faced insulation with paper, face the paper toward the inside of the room during the installation process. 

A good way to remember this is that the paper should face the “warm side” as it’s the vapor barrier, meaning it should face toward where the heat will be coming from.

While the ideal temperature for your garage is partially based on your preferences for a comfortable garage space, you'll still want to maintain a temperature between 40 degrees and 68 degrees Fahrenheit to protect your belongings and vehicles.
