to give this group a rating of A+? My wife and I had our kitchen gutted and totally rebuilt by 4 Points Remodeling and Design Center this summer. The whole experience was an exercise in maximum customer delight (well past satisfaction). In February, we were working with another group on a design for the kitchen when we contacted 4 Points for a second estimate. Immediately, the design that Missie Montgomery came up with totally blew the other group out of the water. She listened well to our needs, applied her creative genius to the concept, and provided the perfect design for us. It incorporated some unique aspects of our current kitchen and amplified them to tie in with the future design. The price was reasonable, and we went ahead with a contract with complete confidence. Missie and Jim Montgomery helped immensely with the challenging phase of selecting the details of the design (cabinet details, colors, tiles, lighting, etc.) so we were in control but greatly aided by experienced people who knew what they were doing. They made the decision process easy. The demolition and installation were started a week earlier than the original estimate, and we were absolutely amazed with the speed and precision of the workers. They took care to protect the remainder of the house from the mess and got the job done efficiently. The crews were all pleasant and respectful at all times. I cannot say enough for the caliber of workers they provided to do this job. If you want true craftsmen doing the work in your home, you want these people. As with any large job, there were unexpected challenges or setbacks that came up. In each case, Jim and Missie were all over the situation working to ensure we were delighted and that costs remained as they had originally predicted. Everything came together as expected. They communicated well at every opportunity and made sure we were not in the dark on anything. The end result is a truly ?world class? kitchen done on time and within budget, and we are totally delighted customers. If you have any remodeling work coming up, look into 4 Points Remodeling and Design Center as a group that cannot be beat in terms of delivering excellence with precision and without nasty surprises.

They are very caring and concerned, they treat you like family, yet are very professional. They get all A's. What I don't care for so much is the claims handling, which is, I think, out of the control of the agency. It seems the claim handlers are not local, which I believe is not conducive to a fair and accurate handling of most claims. My 20 year old licenced daughter was driving my van, with me as a passenger, when we were in an accident. The police report had the driver of the other vehicle as being at fault, photos taken on scene clearly show the accident scene with respect to road conditions and the position of the vehicles afterward, yet the claims handler initially accepted 100% liability. I had to call repeatedly to argue my case with them, my own insurance company! I believe a local handler could have visited the scene, looked at the photos, read the police report, and come to a more fair and honest conclusion. Also, during the time it took for them to determine my van was a total loss I had to keep at least some coverage on it until they released my licence plates, so when I got another vehicle before that time, I had to pay a down payment on the insurance for the new one, since I was technically adding another vehicle rather than replacing it, even though they had possesion of the old one. Then, not even 2 weeks later, a huge chunk of ice fell off the roof of my home, destroying or damaging my snow thrower, lawn mower, gas grill, lawn seed spreader and a gas can. I'm still waiting to hear if they have determined if my loss is more than my deductible. How they handle this may determine if I keep this company."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/al/unknown/state-farm-reviews-8570490.htm"},"position":2},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Highline Moving Delivery and Storage","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"NY","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Deb H."},"reviewBody":"On first contact with the owner, Paul Gillette, I explained that I had never employed professional movers before, nor stored anything and expressed concern over the value of many of my items including expensive furniture and artwork. He said he could take care of all of it, much of it should be wrapped and stored in climate control and he "had it covered". (he denies ever saying this). I told him I would use his company to move and store. His team arrived promptly on my moving day, but the truck was small and they arrived with no wrapping and very little padding. I asked the team if they needed to wrap and they assured me everything would be okay. They had to make two trips in order for everything to get to storage. I did not view the storage, nor go to retrieve anything until several months later. I was shocked when I opened the door, My belongings had been thrown into the unit with absolutely no concern about their care. Boxes marked "fragile" were dented and mashed. My leather furniture was not wrapped and stacked with other heavy items on top. A table was upended and had a broken leg. I went to the office to talk to Paul who was not in. The young woman who was there expressed concern and said that Paul would be in touch. I had to call and email several times and finally wrote a letter, "return receipt". He did respond to that and we set up a time to look at the unit. He agreed that it was not good and actually expressed some concern about my things. However, he said that most people follow the van to the unit and supervise the unloading. I felt that it was their job and I was paying for them to do it correctly, nor should I have to supervise--if that was the case he needed to hire reliable people or supervise it himself. He asked what I wanted him to do. He did not feel that it would advantageous to move to a larger or climate control at that time--"it would do more harm than good". I agreed, and asked him to schedule the next move for when he could be there and see the condition of items as they left the unit. He agreed to that, but on the day of the move he was "busy" , although he did view the contents again. The team (different this time) said that the placement of items was terrible and could not believe any movers would do this. They told us to take pictures which we did. At the end of loading everything I went into the office and asked him how we were to proceed. He looked blank and said, what did I mean. I asked him how he planned to make amends for the damage and he then said that it would have to be submitted to his insurance company and any reimbursement would "take a long time". I submitted pictures of damage to Paul , both hard copy and email. I received a letter from him stating he never said he "had it covered" and that if I had wanted insurance to cover he needed the pics within 30 days (which I did). He offered to give me $50.00 for touchups. Meanwhile here I am with $7,000.00 worth of leather furniture with dents and scrapes, a broken table and numerous broken dishes and keepsakes. I do not plan to pursue this further, but I hope this review saves others the misery I have felt over this whole transaction. Mr. Gillette is a young man who needs to learn that integrity and honesty are the building blocks of good business. He currently lacks both. So, this is something that we were not getting from the other companies who quoted us for the same job. The person who came in to give the estimate was a great guy, real friendly, and very very knowledgeable. They also put together a really nice package, with their estimate, an actual book that had all of the information that we needed to decide what we were going to do with the actual roof, as far as the tear off and the venting and the air vent in the storage space. So it was a really nice package. Jim confirmed it was most likely not salvageable and said he would be over first thing Monday after procuring the right size and type of water heater. Good to his word, Jim showed up before 10 am with our new water heater in tow. He went to the basement and while catching up on family news, looked over the other heater, declared it deceased and proceeded to drain and disconnect the water heater. While the old heater drained Jim brought in the new heater and set it up on small blocks, something new from the last water heater he installed 13 years ago. This apparently keeps moisture from building up underneath the heater and rusting the tank. Eventually, I made my way to the basement to get some things and chatted with Jim while he worked away. I asked a few questions which he kindly answered. He has a great sense of humor and an inordinate amount of patience. As he began reconnecting the main electric source to the hot water heater, he encountered a problem with the wires in the existing line. Maintaining a calm and patient manner, he continued to chat about common topics . Eventually the problem was resolved and Jim took away our old hot water heater. Later, I returned to the basement to do laundry and found Jim had cleaned everything up, no rust, no piles of "stuff" to pick up, no pieces of wires or metal lying about. I was thrilled. He presented us with our bill, chatted a bit about his business, gave us a few references for other work we want to eventually do and off he went. I got an estimate based on my lawn size that seemed reasonable, and agreed to start service. Early in the season I began getting frequent calls, during the day, on my cell phone, from someone at the branch (I think it was John Marengo). One of the calls was to sell me the grub control service, which I wanted and added. The rest of the calls were to sell me various other Scotts/Ortho services which I didn't want. I thought the calls were intrusive and annoying, and I asked him to stop calling me with the solicitations for additional services. The caller became angry, and during the ensuing argument in which he asserted his "right" to make these calls, I attempted to quit the lawn service. He then agreed to stop calling me, and I remained with the service. Just for good measure, I removed my cell phone number from my account contact information online. I never received another call.
After 5 lawn treatments, including grub control, I now have the best-looking front lawn, along with the worst-looking back lawn, I've ever had. I had a large area of persistent ground ivy in the front which has been completely eradicated, and for that I'm grateful. But I also have large bald areas in the back, where there had been grass at the start of the season. These bald areas emerged at the end of the season, and were noted in the technician's report at the last treatment. But the cause given in the report was "grub damage", and the recommendation was a grub control service, which is surprising given that I paid $227 for a grub control service a month before that.
I did complain to the Scotts company, and they said they were willing to repair the back lawn, but I really didn't want any of those people doing anything more to my lawn.
I would not recommend Scotts Lawn Service in Rochester."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ny/rochester/trugreen-lawn-care--5030-reviews-8014227.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Md Lawncare","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"NY","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Ronald J."},"reviewBody":"Mark had issues getting started on the scheduled day/time. Together we had laid out a plan on the work to be done and the order that it is to be done. An email was sent to him to confirm this and for him to use as there was a lot of work to be done. The order of work was done because of the many plants to be moved as well as Iris's to be dug up, split, and moved. He started with the overgrowth behind the stone wall and that went well. When he started to work throughout the yard he did not have control of anything. His men rototilled up perennial plants that were supposed to be moved, chopped up the roots of ornamental trees as well as mulching area's without putting down weed paper (installing the paper was part of the job). Instead of weeding his men used a tiller and just chopped up the tops of the weeds, leaving the roots to grow in a day or two. I inspected the work after the second day of him and his crew being here (first day for his men at my home). I explained he was doing work in area's that were supposed to be at the end of the job, chopping up plants and roots, and not going according to the plan. Mark had not even looked at the email we sent and was relying on memory to do the job. I immediately canceled the job with him and we agreed on a price for the work he and his crew had already done inspite of him ruining plants and possibly trees. "I hired this company last October to illuminate mice and squirrels in my basement. In the beginning I thought highly of John and Anthony and thought they corrected the problem but in January the squirrels were back. I called them and their phone number says that the voicemail is full. I wrote to them and asked them to call me. They never contacted me and still haven’t. I keep trying to contact them, but they refused to accept my calls. John told me I would have a guarantee to get rid of them for one year which did not happen. I am totally frustrated that they won’t even have the courtesy to call me back. I would not recommend them at all."

"I normally do not do much reviews but I had to this time. I live 800+ miles away from my parents. My parents are elderly. My father has spent most of the last 9 months in and out of the hospital and somewhere along the way brought bed bugs home. This was a disaster! They were literally eating my parents alive and I'm 800 miles away! I called many people but Tim was different than all of them. It has been a very very long road in getting the bugs cleared. My parents' home is very cluttered which made this process extremely more difficult to rid the infested house of these horrific bugs. Tim stuck through until the end. He kept me in the loop without me hunting him down. He would check on my sweet mom on weekends. He was in the middle of some large projects and totally stressed out and still found away to go to my parents when they needed him or they were ready for another treatment. Literally, no other company would have given my parents the time and care Tim did; no one. This is your guy. He's knowledgeable and he actually cares. It is of the Lord that He connected us with Tim. Being 800+ miles away was hard enough but my parents were in good hands with Tim the entire time. Hands down our only recommendation!"

Even if you’re not immediately showing signs of pests, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of routine pest control. This should be done yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, or monthly, depending on your location and if any signs of infestation are already present. For example, if you live by water, you might experience more pests in the spring and summer than someone who lives in a dry climate. Discuss treatment options with your pest professional to determine a suitable schedule for you and your home.
