"Very knowledgeable guy who seem to know what he’s doing. Don’t know results of spraying. Have had much rain since. Will have to see if it worked. Terminex will spray again the beginning of next month."

"I received quotes from other wildlife companies who wanted to charge me $5000 plus to remove bats from my attic. I was told I had a â bat problem.â I had Matt and Brian stop by from VerminX to get a third quote. Both were super knowledgeable and took their time to check every nook and cranny in the house before giving their assessment. Contrary to these other wildlife companies, they advised me I do not have a bat problem, explained why and quoted me $1400 to bat proof my attic / residence. It was a breath of fresh air to have someone with integrity to actually assess the problem and not use a â fear factorâ technique by telling me I have a large bat problem when there were just a couple stray bats that managed to work their way into my house. If you donâ t want to be scammed into spending thousands of dollars when you may not have to, I highly recommend giving this company a call to give you a knowledgeable and honest assessment of the problem."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.

Birds eat grass seed for one simple reason—it’s delicious! The seeds are rich in nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Seeds are also high in energy, so humans eat trail mix loaded with seeds and nuts for long-distance activities. Grass seed, when unprotected, is also exceptionally easy to access.

You can find a variety of humane bird repellent sprays online and at home improvement stores. However, if you want to try a DIY method that will keep birds away without harming them, mix some water, dish soap, and a few drops of peppermint oil and spray the area you want bird-free. Peppermint oil is a notoriously lovely smell for humans, but birds tend to avoid it.

Methods include exclusion devices, netting, and sealing entry points. Professionals ensure compliance with local wildlife regulations.

Some birds of prey, like owls, hunt at night. Hawks are diurnal and need good light to see their prey. You could see them circling anytime from dawn to dusk. Species like the common red-tailed hawk are most active in the early morning and late evening when their prey is also typically on the go.
