I seek the help of ServiceMagic and was introduced to several contractors and was offered much lower quote than HH but lack confidence and equipments. The 1st meeting with Jarod, I knew he would do a fine job and awarded the work on the 2nd meeting. HH showed excellent service both before and after service and was meticulous in their work. "I'm that person who has a general distrust of contractors due to a few truly terrible experiences. I blame myself for these bad experiences because I didn't vet the people I hired throughly enough. With the retaining wall bordering my driveway was collapsing and the driveway beginning to split, I knew this wasn't a project I could brush off, so I began an intense search for contractors. Using Angie, I found two contractors I liked for the job, but hired Hector Santucci because he presented a better plan for the restoration of that portion of the driveway that was going to be damaged while removing the old wall. Santucci Brothers has shown me there are good, professional, honest contractors out there, if you just take the time to find them. Hector Santucci and his crew were professional, polite and excellent at their jobs. These are some true craftsmen. Not only is my new wall massive, strong, built to last, but it's quite beautiful. In particular, while the mortar joints on the old wall, which was built by hacks, were three, sometimes as much as four inches wide, Hector's crew tightened everything up, fitting the stones together beautifully, even recessing the mortar on the face. When they were done, they cleaned everything up, power washed the driveway, and even planted new grass. Santucci Brothers stayed on estimate, stayed on schedule, and lived up to everything they had promised me. Communicating with them was easy and efficient."

"They gave us an estimate which I was happy with and arrived on the scheduled day to complete the work.  One of the cracks was much larger than we thought so they needed to com back with a different product.  They came back but with an insufficient amount to complete the job.  It took a long time to complete but it was sufficient to keep water out of the basement.  Just realize that tax is not included in the estimate."
