***When speaking to the CEO, Anthony Collazo, please make sure you record the conversation on your end for your protection and safety! Additionally, make sure everything is agreed to on email and in writing. Anthony will take advantage of any wiggle room he can to lie on any verbal agreements made by phone.*** My husband booked the largest truck available, and they arrived with a smaller truck. Not a huge issue, one that could easily be resolved by just discussing with the booking team or management. This could not be farther from what transpired. My husband received a call from Anthony Collazo the CEO that really made this experience a nightmare. The unprofessionalism and disrespect we encountered when he called, and we tried to explain, was truly unbelievable. Not only did he refuse to address the mistake, but he also had the audacity to curse out my husband over the phone. I can't believe a company CEO would treat their customers so poorly. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this moving company for their services or even to work here. The CEO is untrustworthy, rude, and clearly lacks any sense of customer service. If you do have to deal with him, make sure to record your conversation for your own safety. This man is unhinged and most likely mentally ill. By looking at some of the other reviews here, you’ll see that anytime someone has to deal with management, it results in a poor review due to Anthony’s insane responses (and his replies to these reviews here as well). Anthony if you are reading this, I hope you seek the anger management you desperately need. It was my mistake to recommend Rabbit to my husband, thus I take responsibility to write this on our behalf. It seems like there was a change in mgmt since I had last used the company a few years ago which is a shame. I hope the amazing movers here find a better company to work for fast, as this company is in deep trouble under Anthony’s lack of leadership.

We've used Rabbit Movers for two prior moves over the years (2014 / 2019) and have referred them to family and friends for countless additional services during that time. We've always had top notch experiences with the company, up until an absolutely atrocious experience that we had during our latest move in December 2022. Since then, we've used the company MOVERS NOT SHAKERS, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend their services over Rabbit Movers. After the move, we attempted to work with the front office on a solution for the extensive damages caused. They autoforwarded us to a separate email that dealt with claim issues, provided no condolences for the horrendous experience, and offered a cash repayment slightly above the $.60/pound covered under insurance (well below all the damages caused by the move team). This was an overall terrible experience and I would recommend any prospective customer steer clear of this company moving forward

I urge you to NOT use this moving company. They provide awful, unprofessional customer service. Here are two infuriating examples. I moved from NY to Colorado, and my repeated email requests for any update on when my items would arrive went unanswered. I left town on the beginning of Labor Day weekend, only to get a text from a mover that my items would arrive at 8 am on Labor Day, meaning I had to leave my trip and rush home to greet the movers on a federal holiday. Additionally, I was told that my apartment building's huge parking lot wouldn't fit the mover's tractor trailer, so I'd have to pay a $450 fee. Annoying, but it gets much worse. Many of my items arrived damaged, thanks to sloppy wrapping by Rabbit. When I emailed photos of the damage to Rabbit, the CEO Anthony Collazo was not only completely unapologetic, but lied to my moving insurance company, saying I "refused to sign any paperwork on the day of the move and at the drop off." When I sent him photos of my signature on the moving paperwork, he replied that there were other documents I'd refused to sign. (False.) When I demanded to know what documents, he replied, "That is fine you don’t have to know I guess." There are plenty of moving options and there is no reason for you to spend thousands of dollars on a company that is both incompetent and extremely rude.

I wish everything in my life were THIS easy! I wish I could give Rabbit Movers a 10 star review, but a 5 will have to do. We had a complicated move and needed a moving company on short notice. It was a Friday and must move on the following Wednesday. I found Rabbit Movers by doing a google search. I called and spoke to Johnny. He was calm, reassuring on the phone, explained everything in detail, took the time I needed to ask questions and did not rush me off the phone. Our move consisted of a three location pickup, 40 boxes/shelves at the Financial District, 2. 50 boxes, furniture and art, East Village apt and the third 3., the whole contents of a storage unit located at Inwood, upper Manhattan. (We forgotten what was exactly in the storage unit, “no problem”, Johnny asked for the dimensions of the unit and we assumed it was full.) Our belongings were to be driven over a hundred miles to upstate NY. Johnny gave me a quote immediately and it was the same amount my partner was given by another company for a one location move a week earlier. Before 4pm on Friday we paid the 10% and had Rabbit’s insurance info emailed to our office and residential building’s management. The move was on! Steve and his crew showed up on time Wednesday, friendly, professional with a great attitude. They handled our stuff with care and the move was completed while it was still daylight out. I hope they were happy with their well earned tip. Let me conclude by telling you, I booked this on the phone from another state, while my Partner packed in the City and our adult Daughter waited their arrival upstate. Things could not have gone smoother. As I write this review Rabbit Movers contacted me to follow up, thank us and to see if we were satisfied with the service. (This is the next day after our move) We certainly are and I can sleep better knowing this dreadful chore is over. WE DID IT! With the help of Rabbit Movers. FYI I’m from a family of artists and love the fact Rabbit employs artists. I figured they would treat our art and belongings like their own. They did. ❤️ THANK YOU AGAIN RABBIT MOVERS! Sincerely, Paulette Powell

Buckle in, because this is a long review. Rabbit Movers is run by CEO Anthony Collazo, who was incompetent, unethical, lied to me and several other people during the moving process, and verbally abused me. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Mine is not the only experience of this nature and there are reviews to prove it. Three major incidents occurred during my move: (1) the date of my move was changed without my consent; (2) the moving truck was not dropped off at the fumigator’s as arranged; (3) I was repeatedly threatened with my belongings being left on the street, leaving me with the choice between that fate and having my items loaded into my storage unit without being fumigated and subsequently having to arrange for another moving company to retrieve the items so they could be fumigated (at my own expense, of course). (1) My move was scheduled for 7/29/2022 between 9-11 am. ALL of my official paperwork states this. I received an unofficial email in a long chain of emails on 7/24 stating my move had been converted from a 2-day to a 3-day move and the movers would be coming on the 28th between 1-4 pm to pre-pack my belongings. I did not see this email and did not respond to it to confirm the change in plans. No one followed up with me and a final official confirmation email sent on 7/27 stated my move was taking place on the 29th at 9-11 am. One would think such an important change of plans would deserve its own official email in the first place. And yet, when movers arrived at 5 pm on the 28th and I was unprepared for them, Mr. Collazo yelled at me over the phone, telling me I was an inconvenience and inconsiderate and that he didn’t have to deal with me. He repeatedly threatened to cancel my move. When I requested that he stop yelling at me, he yelled, “I’m not yelling at you.” I’m a psychotherapist specializing in trauma. I know verbal abuse when I see (or in this case hear) it. That went on for about 20 minutes. He made me pay a $250 rescheduling fee even though I’d never approved the movers coming on the 28th in the first place, and then hit me with another couple hundred dollars in fees because he said the move would now take 15 hours. Wouldn’t it have taken that long to begin with? I want to point out that the movers themselves were amazing throughout this time and the entire move. They were professional, kind, understanding, efficient, and just overall a pleasure to work with. Tori was especially amazing. After everything was done, I contacted Chewy, the very kind person who’d been in charge of arranging my move, to alert him to what had taken place. I didn’t know I’d spoken with the CEO of the company. Chewy forwarded my email to Mr. Collazo and I received yet more abuse via email. (2) & (3) The day of the move, my belongings were set up to be fumigated because there were cockroaches in my awful old apartment. Rabbit Movers referred me to a wonderful company they’ve worked with many times in the past and Chewy collaborated with the owner of the company to set everything up. Tori, the head mover, spoke with the owner of the fumigation company the day of the move so he would know exactly where to park the truck. For some reason that’s far beyond my comprehension, management then told him to bring the truck back to their lot instead of taking it to the fumigator’s lot. They lied and told him they were in communication with the fumigator. Meanwhile, the fumigator and his staff waited for the truck for 3.5 hours. I tried calling Rabbit Movers five time and no one answered, so I called Tori and he texted management, who lied and told him the fumigation was taking place at their lot and that they’d just spoken to me. The fumigation team had been sent home at that point and their operation is set up to take place only on site. Management at Rabbit Movers certainly at not spoken with me. As I was writing an email to Rabbit Movers to sort through everything, Cc’ing the fumigator, I received an email from them telling me to stop threatening their movers (????), to call the office if I needed something (um, I did!), that they’d been in contact with the fumigator all day (another lie), and that they would not keep my belongings another night (the only way for fumigation to take place). In fact, the email stated this: "even if we have to unload on the sidewalk we will unload on the sidewalk we are not keeping your items more than tonight." Similar threats were made numerous times. I discovered they’d booked another move for noon on Saturday after having already booked my move, which is doubtless the reason for the last-minute sneak change in scheduling and the reason they didn’t want to keep my things in their truck overnight. A more professional service would never have done such a thing in the first place; the least Rabbit Movers could have done was accounted for their (multiple) errors by taking care of my things and using a different truck for the other move. Again, the movers were wonderful, as was the fumigator, who’s rave review is upcoming. The movers unloaded the truck into my storage unit—unfumigated and hopefully not too full of roaches. The fumigator hooked me up with a moving company he works with, and they picked it up this morning for fumigation. That moving company’s glowing review is also forthcoming. I paid about $6,000 for this service including the fees they stuck me with. I’ve never encountered such poor customer service in my entire life, not to mention the complete lack of responsibility for their own mistakes, the abuse... What a scam. I will post this review in every place I can find to post it and I’ve also made a report to the Better Business Bureau. Anthony Collazo is a scamming, abusive piece of sh*t and he deserves to be put out of business. I feel sorry for his employees and for you should you make the poor choice to work with Rabbit Movers. To Mr. Collazo, I’m sure you’ll write lovely things in response to my review wherever you can. And I’m sure whatever you write will contain threats, lies, and more abusive statements. I’ve seen you do it in response to other negative reviews. Write away. Go ahead and show everyone your true colors.

Fast, easy booking and the move went flawlessly. Movers were very careful and thorough. It is the management and operations team that is not professional. Bins have not been picked up for two weeks!! I live in a small Brooklyn apartment and the stack of bins were obstructing my only exit. 1st weekend I called to check the status of pick up only to find out that they moved the time without notifying me—no email, no call, no voicemail. They rescheduled to the next weekend at MY expense. Not even a discount granted. Today the bins were supposed to be picked up. I called before the window of time to make sure they were coming and had the right time. The window of time passes, I call to let them know I cannot stay home any longer today to see if they would ever arrive and cannot reschedule again. I told them I would leave the bins outside. The management called back without even a small apology for the inconvenience of two weekends of waiting around (including a holiday weekend). They are now charging me the rescheduling fee for when they moved the original time without providing notice and for leaving the bins outside. It’s a shame that the customer service was so terrible because the booking and move was really great. I’ve moved 5 times in 9 years and this was the easiest move I’ve ever had. Would not recommend and would not book again.

The absolute worst! The majority of the moving team showed up stoned - they broke many expensive items, took things apart and didn’t put them back together, did not pack art properly so every picture frame is scratched- they left items on the sidewalk and at the old building and the foreman threatened to slap me. I reported the issues to the company and they were not willing to assist and they were obnoxious. Still considering a lawsuit

Horrible. They came unprepared, called me a liar and tried to charge me an extra $728 on top of $600 with no option for even a partial refund. Never use this company as they will book you quick, not listen to you, be rude and unprofessional to you and ruin your experience! Their response was horrible and they should not be in business.

DO NOT USE. The movers broke and then kept a $350 walnut shelving unit. The movers said the company would pay to replace it and it was policy to keep the broken furniture (?!) The owner then offered me $125. I said that was unacceptable and asked if it was worth a bad review to not replace the shelf? He then punished me for posting a review and reduced the amount he would pay to $60. When I asked for the shelf parts back so I could repair it cheaper than buying a new one he said “file a police report” so I did. When I asked to meet him in person he said I could meet him at a MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR AN EMPLOYEE THAT PASSED AWAY. This is who the owner is. The movers themselves promised to help do some junk removal in exchange for some laptops I was selling. After they took them they blocked my number and the owner was like “not my problem” AVOID THIS COMPANY

To start with, I am an artist and wanted to support other artists. Huge mistake. The movers stole cash from me and now deny it. I was very generous and gave each one $100 tip and an expensive air purifier and fan tower. They seemed friendly and caring. I should have known better - they were acting ... After they left I packed up and donated what was left behind. Cleaned up and everything was out of the old apartment. Unpacking boxes in my new place I realized that my cookie jar which was full of cash previous to my move and keys was empty in a box of dishes a Rabbit mover packed in my kitchen. I looked into every box before I contacted Rabbit Movers to ask what happened to the content of the jar. They denied ever having touched the jar. Funny how a jar can empty itself out then wrap itself and jump into a box with the other kitchen items before the box was sealed. I must have a very intelligent cookie jar ... I filed a claim after having to read various emails praising the workers for their honesty and loyalty and telling me that they are family and so on. Of course no one admitted to taking the money and keys. They don't even admit having seen the jar. These people took my money, didn't move everything, took a big tip and gifts, but obviously that wasn't enough. They also stole my money out of my cookie jar. Shame on each of them. This money and keys was found by my late husband who died of cancer. He picked up each coin and key he found and attached a wish to it. I treasured this memory and they took it away from me. Rabbit Movers workers can't be trusted and I wouldn't recommend using them.

Well, I really wanted to leave a good review.  They're nice guys and I love the idea of some kind of cooperative moving company that supports "artists."  Two guys came on sunday to pack us and then four guys on monday to move us.  The sunday packing guys couldn't get through a third of our stuff and so they left the rest of it to sunday.  The movers showed up a little late on sunday because a truck broke down or something, and then took all day until 10pm to move us into the new house.  I have two kids who were punch drunk and sleepless by the end.  The reality was that they probably underestimated the amount of crap we have, they came in about $800 over their estimate (an unwelcome surprise), the guys were frazzled and exhausted by the end.  They chipped the woodwork on the stairs in the new place.  Other than that, no major breakages or disasters.  I can't recommend them for a large scale move like this, but for smaller things--one or two bedroom apartments--they should be just fine.

The Rabbit Movers did a great job in moving our complete household. They arrived in time and finished on time. All four guys working on our stuff were super friendly and careful.
A very valuable feature this company has is the "green" boxes, which are delivered one week before the move and picked up one week after the move. Through this service you avoid having to get cardboard boxes. it also forces you to unpack within a week, which is great.

The booking process was clear, easy, professional and put me at ease for the upcoming move. The driver was spot on time and the work started quickly and was done very well. Anything I asked for in terms of storage orientation or plastic wrap was done as I requested. The items were well packed with moving blankets and tape. I had one piece that was difficult and I should have been more specific in my wishes as to how I would have liked it moved but in the end it was all fine. I'll use them again.

The service was great. I actually used the guys for two different moves. They were very respectful and professional and would definitely recommend them to others. My only reservation was the price. They enforce a 2 hour minimum fee on their moves, and my move did not last nearly that long. But rules are rules. The company is run by artists of various types, so I felt good about using these movers. Great guys!

Overall it was an excellent experience. Rabbit Movers are really great; easy going and totally on top of things. They arrived on time and were ready to get to work right away. They moved all of our really heavy antiques and very careful about not banging or breaking things. We had no breaks in the move. They were easy to deal with and the cost was reasonable. I would use them again in the future. These guys work really hard. I highly recommend them.

This has been my best experience ever with a moving company. I have moved many times and have used serveral different companies in the past.

The guys were running 20 minutes late because of construction on the Gowanus, they called me and told me that they were on the highway in Staten Island and apologized.

The crew was incredible. They cared about my belongings and treated every item as if it was a piece of antique crystal.

The price was great, I got a 10% discount because I paid with cash. I am going to move again in March and I will absolutely use Rabbit Movers. I highly recommend them.

The team leader on the job was concerned that they would be late, so he called to give us a heads up. They were late, but were courteous, hard working and FAST! They managed to get everything out and loaded in 3 hours. The next day the poor guys had to drive through an ice storm/blizzard, but arrived in a good humor and again were courteous and fast, with almost NO damage to any of our items. A dream to work with. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

All of their employees were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They arrived on-time and worked quickly without rushing. The glass top to my desk broke during transit. They had a true "make it right" philosophy -- offering to pay for its replacement even though the cost didn't exceed my deductible.
