"Wonderful experience! She was able to combine the wants of my husband and I to create a contemporary yet modern Afrocentric home. The entrance of the home looks like a hotel lobby and office area. Very modern with Afrocentric art and patterns. She listened to both of us and amazingly brought our desires to life in a very unique way. I definitely couldn't have done this myself. I thought the fireplace was beautiful before the design, but now, its so uplifted and even more stunning. Very impressed! Bedroom is very homey and hotel-like. I desire to be home, enjoying my oasis. "I hired KBR via Sweeten and right from the beginning of the process I was impressed by their professionalism. Right after engaging with them, I was invited to their office for a project review and received my estimate. KBR provided a fair and accurate quote, plus provided me with estimated materials costs which allowed me to properly budget for the project. Our interior designer, Shania Dias was by far the star of the show. She helped me pick out the perfect materials and then worked to design an amazing kitchen and expansion that ably took into consideration some of the unique architectural quirks in my apartment. During the course of the renovation, she regularly stopped in to check on the progress of the work and made sure to answer any questions promptly. Honestly, she was the best part of the entire process. Our project manager, Will Carrillo, was also very organized and worked directly with our building and superintendent to make sure construction could proceed on time. We had some communication bumps in the road but overall he proved himself to be a solid partner. Will also made sure that when some of the subcontract work was not completed to specifications, that it was corrected promptly. The final product ended up being exactly what I wanted and I would highly recommend KBR for your next renovation!"
