"We just bought a new home and wanted it deep cleaned before moving in. Eco Cleaning did an amazing job. Shoutout to Anna. who cleaned every corner, baseboard, and cabinet. I felt completely at ease bringing our baby into a clean, fresh-smelling home."

"I had a large stained area that I needed to be removed from my couch, they were easy to schedule and flexible about timing, and honest about what part of the stain might not be able to be cleaned, although it did come out! They cleaned the whole couch in under an hour on the spot, well worth the money."

"If you are looking for a reliable, hard-working, detail-oriented, pleasant team to do deep cleaning - LOOK NO FURTHER!! We hired Nina service for a post-construction cleaning of our three-bedroom apartment. They started at 9:00 a.m. and did not leave until after 8:00 p.m. There was not a corner of our apartment that did not get a thorough cleaning! They worked non-stop and were very receptive to guidance. Nina service was very reasonably priced for the number of hours they worked. If there was a way for me to give her service 10 stars - I would do it without hesitation."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

As a general rule of thumb, avoid handwashing dishes whenever possible—especially if you have a full sink. Using a dishwasher saves water and better sanitizes your dishes. However, if you have delicate dishwear, high-end glassware, or fragile plastics, you should opt to handwash it to avoid cracks, chips, or warping from the high heat of a dishwasher.

Service costs depend on project size and complexity, service scope, and any tough task specifics encountered.

It's not a great idea to clean gas stove grates in the dishwasher. Most iron grates, even with a protective coating, can corrode when exposed to the heavy washing process. Instead, soak your stove grates in gentle soapy water for up to 30 minutes, and remove any grease and grime by hand to be safe.

The front load washer has a rubber gasket inside the door that prevents water from leaking out as the machine operates. The gasket does its job so well that it doesn’t allow evaporation from inside the drum, which can lead to the formation of odors related to dampness. The top loader doesn’t need a rubber gasket because of the position of its lid, so evaporation occurs easier.

The answer to this question varies by the household, as well as by the room. For high-traffic areas in busier households, aim to mop your floors at least once a week or more as needed. Homes and rooms with less foot traffic can likely get away with mopping every two weeks. Keep an eye on your floors throughout the month and adjust this chore on your household cleaning checklist as necessary.
