God is workers in and disappeared. And after an hour, I told one of the workers, I'm not paying for him because my contract said, three workers, Okay, he was gone. I said after an hour I said I'm not paying for him. He's not here. He didn't say anything to me. He did some beard within 15 minutes to that complaint. He showed up. Now they did deduct his time, but it took a little effort, they didn't want to And he tried to say that he started an hour earlier than he did start and his other worker said to him. No, we weren't here then. She's right, we started at that time. Oh my God. Yes, get ready. First of all, they did not show up with enough supplies. To do the packing day one. They were supposed to pack at a rate of 185 dollars an hour for three men. So they came short supply, could only work three and a half hours and tried to charge me for four hours saying it was company policy that they get paid for a minimum of four hours. I said I'm not paying because you didn't bring enough material to do the job. The estimate for that day was six hours and one minute for the packing. Packers three hours. They said, uh, Okay, so the three Packers at six hours, they estimated six hours, they were there three and a half hours and ran out of materials. And one of the charge me for four hours, And I received the pad. I said, get your Queue company on the phone, I'm not paying for four hours. And the one guy was missing for an hour and 15 minutes. And that was the crew chief. Now the second day they promise promise promise they would be there by 9 00 a.m. because I had a cleaning lady scheduled I okay no that's not it. the first day right away, okay? So I signed the bill, paid it and realized the for the packing materials they charged me. There was no breakdown. All there was was a figure. So I had to fight with then Queue company, to get a figure, a breakdown materials and all I got was they used eight and said 60 boxes? Well I videotaped my home after they left and there was a 45 boxes in my home, only 40 and there was a ton of packing to be done yet because they ran out of materials. So, they show up on, day two late. They were supposed to be there by nine, they didn't get their to 9 30 and it was the same crew chief with a whole different crew, two different people. They show up, okay. 12: They. So I said to the crew chief. I'm not paying okay? The second day estimate. All right. Uh, with for 195 for seven hours. That was the estimate three workers. They show up. He wants to charge me 195 dollars per hour. I said no, you still got packing to do.Packing is 185 an hour and he argued vehemently with me and I said I'm not paying The moving rate for you to pack what you should have packed yesterday and you didn't pack because you didn't bring enough supplies. So I said, get your company on the phone, he goes, oh, look if I have to pay it myself, I'll pay it myself. You said, you'll get charged in the 185. Okay. So Provided contact data. So the second day when he charged me at the end of the day, okay? Again, no, no breakdown of the packing material eue and I have been fighting with this company to get a copy of the breakdown of the materials. He charged me for because you got to know what you charged for and I have yet to get it. This company has not supplied me with a with a packing list they just charged me the figure. So they made it up, they made it up. So anyway Not only that. They broke my antique mantrap clock which they are refusing. Now, refusing. Here's what happened. I called them up. I said look, there's use scratches on the apartment floor. You broke my manual. Clock. You 14 know, I've got pictures of damaged boxes. I did a box count on video. As I empty the boxes and put them out for trash. So I know exactly how many boxes and what sizes And, I'm yet to get a packing list from day two. And they won't give it as they just don't Supply avilable because when I called the guy up and explained it to him and it took several times. And I finally got the owner And he goes, oh well, one of the two owners, their brothers. He said, we won't charge you for the packing supplies. We want to make this, right? And we will fix your clock and the floor. Well, then they found that the apartment complex would not allow them to fix this floor that they wanted to fix the floor. And then they would have to reimburse them. And he said to me, no, if you do that, we're not paying anything. This is the second owner neue now, he's getting nasty with me. The first day, the first owner said, we believe you where everything you said you you seem to be honest legitimate. We believe you and now they're telling me. Well, you gave our movers a hard time. The only thing I gave them a hard time about Was with the way they were charging me. And then, yeah. he wants to charge me before. The job is finished. I said, how long do you know? It's going to take that long. Well, I've been in the business 20 years. I know I said well you didn't know to bring enough boxes. So, They 5 were tipped, they were fed. I did treat them respectfully, but I argued a lot with that crew chief because he wanted to overcharge me all the time. And so when I called the company, the guy said, I believe you whatever . He says, you don't want to use that because he said that the management companies are are. Um, they're they're not honest and then he turned around and said, I should let 16 them in and fix the floor and not tell the owners of the property, that's against the law. It's not my property, it's the owner's property and they're blackmailing me and threatening me with. We won't pay for anything unless we fix the floors. Well, I wouldn't let them and I emailed them that they didn't pick up the clock to fix it. Like they said, they would they didn't pay for anything. Like they said they would they didn't pay for anything. They told me the phone number I'm contacting them more. Now they're telling me it's an Queue personal number and I'm not to call or text that number that I'm to go through their insurance company. And they're only going to pay with the insurance company who pay instead of paying what they agreed to pay which was to drop all the packing charges and fix my clock and pay for the floor.

When my daughter told me she would be moving from Queens, NY to Arlington Va. I decided to retire from being the mover and would hire a professional moving company for the first time ever. They were not the cheapest but were very competitive and both my daughter and I felt most comfortable with them. I spoke with Eric to finalize the deal and enjoyed our conversation one salesperson to another. As promised Brian the dispatcher called the day before the move, and I reviewed my last minute concerns. He assured me there would not be a problem. The real stars of the show were the crew that showed up when expected, led by Ramel (MEL), Travis, John Francis, and Jeff. They were all great guys that showed care and concern over our furniture and belongings. I made sure I was there at the time of the move, but the guys were so kind to my daughter who was a little overwhelmed (and sleep deprived) it would have been fine if I wasn’t. It was the hottest weekend of the year so far, but they worked hard and efficiently to get everything loaded. Mel confirmed it would be him and one other guy on delivery the next day in Virginia. Mel and Travis showed up as expected and worked hard in the heat to get us unloaded in a reasonable timeframe. They figured out how to manipulate anything that to me seemed problematic. You could tell they were very experienced. They did not try to change the deal or add any last-minute charges that were not originally agreed to. Although not everything is unpacked it appears as though our things arrived in the same condition they left in. I could not have been happier and am so glad I spent a little more money and chose this great team at Northeastern Movers, Inc. I highly recommend them and particularly this crew.

After much research I hired Northeastern Movers. I was quite skeptical because they quoted so low. But these men were very skilled and experienced. They knew exactly how to pack and securely load everything onto the trucks. They even helped me sort out the furniture I wasn’t going to take with me. These guys definitely deserve a recommendation.

My move couldn’t have gone any better. I had to move with my girlfriend and their sales rep was very open-minded to fixing the date. Their folks were right on time; they loaded up the truck and moved everything very shortly after arrival. They only charged what we were quoted. They were dependable, friendly and easy to work with. They arrived on time and packed and loaded the whole house with ease and in lightning speed. Everything was transferred to the other end before the deadline and nothing was damaged, not even a tiny scratch. And guess what? The final price was exactly what was quoted at the beginning.
