"Kevin O'Connor arrived ahead of schedule and opened up the electrical panel. Told me right off that the other electrician was completely wrong and the bus bar did not need replacement. He fixed what turned out to be a minor problem in the box and installed a new breaker to get my A/C working. He saved me a lot of aggravation if I had gone with the first electrician. I would hire Kevin again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm going to because I need a fixture hung."

"Eddie was our electrician. Came out in the morning to provide us with an estimate. Based on other estimates, the price seemed very fair. We were available to have the work done in the afternoon and Clark was able to accommodate our needs. We had an electrical vehicle plug installed in our garage and the installation was very clean. We are very satisfied with everything—timing, ability to accommodate and installation."

"Dale was terrific he arrived on time, was prepared to go to work, on arrival. Picked up a few necessary items, I didn’t have. Started and finished the job, cleaned up. Left with a functioning Ring doorbell that was connected to hard wire. Very professional and thorough."

"My TV was not working, so he technician came out and installed a new HDMI cable through the ceiling in the attic. I supplied the new HDMI cable.  That did not work, so they sold me a new splitter and installed that in the attic.  That fixed the problem.  The technician was courteous and helpful.  The call cost $99 using a Big Deal .  The splitter cost $169.  Overall, good experience.  Would use them again.

"After not hearing back from another company, Bond Heating and Airconditioning, who I  had left 2 messages for, I called this company
on 4/25/13; it was after hours so I expected to leave a message but, Tim answered the phone. He and his worker, Justin, came out the next day, even called me to let me know they were on the way...very considerate and impressive. They installed the thermostat and left. I shall use them again if need be and recommend them to others.

Ring Installers questions, answered by experts

If a range hood has minor issues, the average repair costs $85 to $210. This accounts for both parts and labor. More extensive damage can cost as much as $300 to $500, at which point it may be worth considering completely replacing the range hood.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.

Regular cleaning of filters and checking ducting ensures effective operation.

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Typically 1-2 hours, factoring in ductwork and electrical connections.
