"Anthony has come to our house 3 times now to quote the work we need/needed done and he has been professional and enjoyable every time. First job we had done was our downstairs half bath. We originally had this hideous linoleum and wanted to switch it to tile. Anthony sent his tile guy, Saul, and he had the job done in 2 days. Saul was also very pleasant and extremely fast. He also didn't mind having our kids running around which was a huge relief for us, as we have 2 y/o twins. We paid $350 for this job. Second job we had done was our fireplace. Unfortunately we don't have a before photo, but the final result is pictured. We love the way it came out and this job was done in 2 days as well. Saul had the bulk of this job done in 2 hours and then came back the next day to finish it in about an hour or less. We paid $200 for this job. Our third project that we our hoping to have done is our entire upstairs carpet. I'm pretty confident it will turn out just as nice as our other projects!"

"Exceeded all expectations! On top of the floor product being phenomenal, the installers were polite, friendly, punctual, fast, professional, problem solvers, worked well as a team, painted all the baseboards, and were extremely careful and respectful of our property, our furniture and a delicate wall treatment. They also took the initiative to correct several issues left by a previous contractor of ours. Ron was obviously experienced and no-pressure when he came out to see our home for a quote, and Keisha couldn't have been more efficient or nicer when scheduling and answering questions. Additionally, they were both extremely gracious when we had to postpone at the last minute for a personal reason. Their policy is no charge until project is complete and satisfactory. Fantastic experience from start to finish!"

"Project: Install Mosaic Tile for kitchen backsplash. Beautiful work, very reasonable price and quick service. Very nice and professional too. Will hire them again to convert master bathroom bathtub and shower into double head walk in shower with porcelain tile and guest bathroom removals bathtub and replace it with new bathtub and add porcelain tile to the wall."

"We had an excellent experience working with Daniel and his team. We installed quartz counter tops with undermount sinks, added a new drain and sink to the existing buildout, and had our old and ugly oak cabinets repainted with new soft close hinges. In addition, we hired Daniel to install a tile backsplash in our kitchen and paint our new garage door. Daniel is a true professional and puts customer service and satisfaction first. He was very communicative and always let us know what time he would be arriving and when we would mention something we wanted slightly altered, he would do so with pleasure. I highly recommend Precision Granite to anyone who wants great workmanship and a reasonable price in the Las Vegas area. We were new to Las Vegas and heard many horror stories from friends about contractors they had worked with. We're so pleased we chose Precision Granite."

"Rep showed up on time and was very courteous. Gave us a fair price on flooring for my sons room. Installation went flawlessly. The installers showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Natural stone floors, especially pebble-style tiling, are one of the least slippery options for a shower floor. Natural stone has a texture to reduce slickness, and pebble-shaped tiles add more visual and textural contrast while reducing slippage. Vinyl tiles are also designed with anti-slip texture for added safety. If you have a slippery tile, be sure to add a grippy shower mat to reduce the risk of falls.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

If you’re looking for a durable tile for a shower floor, consider porcelain, stone, or vinyl tiles. Each of these options, when installed correctly, will stand up well to everything from water and moisture to the impact from a dropped bottle of body wash. These materials are also easy to clean and maintain, making them popular options for shower floors.

Yes, you can tile over existing shower tiles, but it's better to remove the old tiles first for the best results. Tiling over existing tiles requires a clean, level surface and proper adhesion. If the old tiles are in good condition, you can roughen the surface to improve adhesion. However, removing the old tiles ensures a smoother, longer-lasting finish and prevents potential issues down the line.

If you’re handling your tile removal yourself, seal the room using painter’s tape and heavy-duty contractor bags to prevent dust and shards from escaping. Use a claw hammer or a pry bar and a mallet to get behind the tile and pry it away from the floor or wall. Once your tiles are all removed, sweep everything into contractor bags for disposal, being careful not to overfill them. Make sure you wear a dust mask, safety goggles, and work gloves to keep yourself safe from injury while you work.
