The workers were very efficient, careful, and also very pleasant. They even worked several hours late on 3 occasions. And they cleaned up after themselves spectacularly well, even though cutting porcelain in our driveway created quite a mess. Also, the cost of the project was considerably less than the estimates we received from competitors. So great deal and as painless an experience as could be expected.

We ran into a couple of unexpected issues during this project which took everyone by surprise, however the project was finished very efficiently and our kitchen looks great. Wally was very responsive and did a great job, we’re very happy with our new countertops and backsplash.

Every detail, every picture , everything was amazing from the moment they came and installed the countertops which took roughly about two days to put in the countertops and three days to paint and install the cabinet. Everyday the owner called to make sure if everything was going great. Very nice people , customer service was excellent and I am very glad we picked them to do our countertops and cabinets.

I was converting my den into a bedroom and I was remodeling my bathroom. They had to close off the arched opening, created a new entrance, move electrical light switches and build out a closet. In the bathroom I was having the tub removed and converted into a walk in shower. I had six estimates and LIA Construction was the only company to do as I had asked and provided me with an itemized estimate, none of the other companies did, they just provided me with a grand total for both jobs. After going with LIA construction I found the workers to be friendly, courteous and professional. They showed up on time and after finishing each day did a clean up of the work area. I am completely happy with the work that was performed, the bedroom looks like it was always there and would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)
$200,000
estimator recommended a large left over slab of quartzite for our countertops. I went to the business and personally approved the slab that was in the storage yard. A date was set for the installers for 0900, they did not arrive until 1300. Called the shop and the estimator several times, always told "on the way". We were not informed that the stone would absorb water and stain, and in reviewing the information on the stone was informed that the stone should be sealed, not just polished. Also note a long thin crack that could expand if not sealed. When I called the company, they referred me to the estimator again. He stated they don't seal the stone and to just call Lowe's. He also stated he never heard of quartzite absorbing water or needing to be sealed. We hired a recommended company to re-polish and seal the NEW countertops. They stated most stone countertops need to be sealed. Do not recommend

Never got back to me on leftovers granite I bought. I need some of the granite I purchased which was leftover for my very small bathroom countertop
Response from

"Tami, I greatly apologize if you feel ignored, however, I was not aware that you needed your remnants. I have no emails or voicemails asking for those to be delivered. Had I known you were looking for them, someone would have gotten back to you right away. I left a message on your cell phone, asking for you to contact us to find your remnants and get this taken care of. I left the office number on the voicemail as well. Hope to hear from you soon!"

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. BACK SPLASH HAD AREAS THAT STILL NEEDED GROUT. THE SINK/WATER SUPPLY WAS NOT PUT IN PROPERLY AND WE HAD NO WATER FOR 6 DAYS UNTIL MASTER PLUMBER CAME TO CORRECT IT. THE INSTALL OF THE COUNTER TOPS LOOKS NICE BUT THEY TOOK LONGER TO FINISH THAN WAS STATED TO US AND THE GUYS ALSO DENTED MY NEW REFRIGERATOR.

We hired A. Granite MD to replace 3 quartz countertops and sinks in our guest and master bathrooms and found them to be very professional. Tobin and Miranda answered all our questions and were a pleasure to work with. They provided samples of granite which assisted us in selecting the color and type for our bathrooms. The installers arrived on time and installed the countertops in a single day to our satisfaction. The price was competitive.

We had a small job and it got lost in the shuffle. 3, 1/2 weeks to get it installed. It was a little frustrating, when we were told a week to 10 days. The work was good and they discounted the price for the inconvenience.

Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)

A Granite MD was contracted to fabricate granite I had purchased for my home kitchen. AGMD was selected from several other measurement and job estimators. I had my 2 full-sized granite slabs, that I personally purchased, delivered to AGMD for them to fabricate and install. The install was completed satisfactory with only a couple small glitches. 8 days after install, I asked for my remaining granite—as I wanted to use for backsplash and a small project. Even by AGMD’s measurements and using conservative numbers for cutting waste, each of the 2 slabs would have a third remaining. AGMD’s (Tobin) response was “we’ll have to look for it”. Back-n-forth texts resulted in the remaining granite was missing or lost. I tried to get more info but the AGMD rep then refused to answer several phone calls or texts from my number. This no communication went for 3 weeks. Frustrated, I finally called the listed AGMD office wanting to talk with the ops manager. The response was the granite was probably sold. My response was and is -- who gave AGMD the authority to sell what was not there’s because I did not. No response other than it was in our yard. When selecting a contractor to come into your home, one expects mutual trust and a high degree of INTEGRITY. AGMD has little Integrity. There are too many other granite fabricators out there – go to them.
Response from

"Doug K, Thank you for your review. The reason for my comment, is because there is always two sides to every story. On your contract, you had listed "no backsplash" and had told the estimator that you would be providing your own, later on down the line. It was not until 3 weeks after completion, that you contacted us about any remaining granite. At this time, we went to look in our bone yard, and did not find your granite. This however, does NOT mean your granite was sold. You were never told that your granite was sold, or that we sold it "because it was in our yard" The reason I know this to be true, is because I was the person you spoke to last. I did not tell you your remnant was sold, rather than it was probably disposed of. We do not keep remnants in our yard for very long. Had you told us ahead of time, that you wanted the left over materials, we would have set them aside for you. however, you did not contact us about your remaining granite until 3 weeks after completion. Please try to think about this for our point of view. How on earth, could we possible keep every customers remnants in our yard? I am very sorry to hear you feel our company and our workers have little integrity. This saddens me greatly. I do however, thank you for your review, as constructive criticism is always helpful. Best Regards, Miranda Y"

After 20 years of hating my kitchen, I now have the kitchen of my dreams. The professionalism and going above and beyond are just a few things to mention. I am so happy with the outcome of my counter tops and backsplash. My new sink is to die for. My kitchen went from run down to high end - the look is fabulous, the quality is amazing and the help I received from Tobin & Miranda was ultimately incredible. It may have taken a few more days than I anticipated but totally worth the wait. I would recommend them to anyone looking to redo their kitchen.
