"Where do I even start.... If I could give Do it Your Painting & More 100 stars, I would. I recently lost my father and acquired his house that needed quite a bit of work and a fresh facelift. He was a smoker and because of his health declining, was unable to keep up on some basic maintenance. After submitting a request for a quote through Angi's List, Dajuan responded promptly and professionally and answered many of my questions, that I'm sure were all over the place. Trying to handle a house project 1000 miles away and trying to find someone to do it was extremely overwhelming and stressful, especially while grieving, but Dajuan's understanding and communication made the process a lot smoother. He was able to meet me at my Father's house last minute while we were in town to go over some job options and gave me some advice to help me make some decisions. After a good month or so of a massive texting conversation, funding hiccups and decision making delays on my part, Dajuan and crew got the job done in the time frame I needed and came back in a timely manner to fix a couple things and complete a couple more jobs I added on at the end. He suggested a couple options for some weird issues in the house and pointed out some issues that need to be taken care of in the future that I can do on my own. Everything was perfect and the finished project came out 100x better than I had imagined and the smoke smell is gone! I am so thankful that the stars aligned to have found Dajuan and crew for this job. It was so nice to find someone who could tackle not only the painting but flooring installation, small kitchen remodel and stubborn ceiling fan installation. A package deal! "The job revealed to be bigger than suspected, however Bruce had warned of all possibilities prior to starting. We felt prepared and educated throughout the process. Work included tear down of a large tiled area, clean-up/remediation of mold infested area and rebuilding of entire area. Result was a better built shower area than had existed. Total work days were about 6."

"It went perfectly. He came in and measured (and told me I needed less tile than I had estimated!) and then he even offered to pick the tile up for me at the store. He came first thing on the morning he said he would. I forgot to buy grout so he brought me grout in the exact color (light gray) I asked for. He finished the next day as he said he would. He was professional, polite, organized, and kept me up to date constantly by text since I was out of town or in town but at work. The actual labor and installation is beautiful. I couldn't be happier. After he left, I walked around the house to find other things he and his team could do. I wish I had found him earlier. I am getting new bathroom cabinets installed on top of the new tile he just put down and as soon as those cabinets are in, I will post a photo."

"Javier called ahead of time to confirm that he was on his way, and when he arrived, he introduced himself and described what he would do. Then, he pulled out his ladder and climbed onto the roof. He came down to retrieve supplies he needed to apply some fresh tar and mastic where needed. He noticed that a piece of plastic molding was missing over the porch (against the house behind the tile shingles). He did not have one on his truck, so he explained that he had one at his shop and would be back momentarily. He returned within 15 minutes with the molding, installed it, and then reviewed the work he did. He showed before-and-after photos from our roof of the places where he replenished the tar and mastic. The before-photos were very similar to the ones taken a month or so earlier by the home inspector when we were in the process of purchasing the house, so even though I was not on the roof to see what he saw, I feel confident that he found and addressed the needed preventive maintenance. The home inspector had not noticed the missing molding, but Javier did--and he replaced it. We are new to tile roofs, so I appreciate the time and attention that Javier took to make sure that this one is in good shape.
