"We interviewed 3 companies before Brothers. All of whom were less than satisfactory. They did not ask us questions, did not bring samples, gave complicated answers to our questions and did not confirm that we understood. There were at least 2 or more qualities that put us off. The first unique quality about Brothers is that the salesperson took off his shoes. I know it is trivial but is was at least symbolic. While he was relatively inexperienced, it reassured us that he was able to call someone at the company for answers. It was also reassuring that almost all of the managers/owners are related. We figured that is a family can be that unified to grow a business, they must be doing something right. Oh, he brought samples. Their installation team was personable and diligent. The even had 50's/60's music playing. Tarps went down for every window they worked, they vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned up outside when done. We could not afford to replace the sliding glass doors but we will be using the Brothers team when we are ready to do so. We would recommend them highly as a quality company."

"Julio and Christian made a thoughtful and clear presentation for a project to replace 7 windows and a sliding glass door. They were able to show us examples of materials that would be used. We were very happy with the no pressure presentation and the different options covered that could save us money. I was impressed that they were able to to all the work in one day and with obvious skill and great quality."
"The original windows in this house were builder grade - low budget aluminum frame windows - that developed a haze between glass panes (the windows started hazing about 12-15 years after installation). We'd contacted two other window companies to provide bids, but the windows performance specs were lacking (U=0.34, SHGC=0.31). Researching window / glass company specifications, it is easy to achieve better values, so we put window replacement on the back burner. While perusing the 2016 Reno Home Show, we discovered BHN purely by chance, and provided our contact information. Chad (BHN) contacted us to schedule an appointment a few days later. Chad took time to explain his window AND his warranty, both of which are excellent. He also mentioned windows can be ordered as sliders or double hung (highly recommend everyone visit a home with double hung windows to compare with sliders). After listening to everything he offered, we agreed that BHN would replace our windows.
BHN took about 3.5 days to replace 12 windows, install 2 new windows, and replace a cheap french door with a slider. The first day we arrived home, the difference between old and new windows was night and day. The low-E creates a polarized view, enhancing color contrast. BHN was considerate of interior space / furniture by covering floors and furniture with drop cloths. The work area was clean after each shift - BHN takes refuse with them. Had a hole in one screen and BHN replaced it the same day.
"Nevada glass is courteous and knowledgeable and knows what he is doing and clean as well. He is also willing to come back if he needed to. highly recommended."

Whether it's better to repair or replace a broken mirror depends on its size, value, and the extent of the damage. For small, inexpensive mirrors, replacement is often the better choice, as the average repair cost of around $200 can be close to the price of a new one. However, for large mirrors—like those over a bathroom vanity or large floor mirrors—repair is usually more cost-effective. A new large mirror can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, while repairs typically range from $50 to $200. You should also consider the mirror's age and sentimental value. Antique mirrors and family heirlooms are often priceless and irreplaceable, making repair the most sensible or only option.
There are a few reasons your mirrors might have smears on them after cleaning, but the two most likely are remaining cleaning product and minerals from hard water. If you used a commercial glass cleaner, consider spraying down the mirror with a 1-to-1 ratio of white vinegar and water after cleaning and then wiping it dry with a cotton cloth. If you suspect hard water is the issue, use a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to spot-clean the streaks, and then let the mirror air-dry.
For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.
Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.
Cutting glass yourself can be dangerous, as the edges are sharp and can easily cause lacerations if you’re not careful. Working with larger pieces of glass is especially dangerous, as they can be cumbersome and difficult to handle without shattering. If you’re uncomfortable doing the work yourself, you can hire a professional to get the job done safely.
