"Master-Tech Came to my home to clean carpets and clean and polish floors. A Gentleman named Johnathan and his partner did an awesome job! While they worked steadily on my carpets and floors, they maintained professionalism and never inconvenienced me in any way. I can't say enough about their service and professionalism at all times. I will recommend Master- Tech to anyone and everyone given the opportunity. They are the Best! In a very troubled world where Customer Service is almost obsolete, and you never get to speak to a Person, I found their service refreshing and enlightling. I am 80 years old and have had to call many companies for service over the years. Some of the companies have been very kind and capable, and some have been dissatisfying at best. I don't always get treated fairly. Johnathan and his Staff make me feel like "I Matter." Thank you for your service and unyielding respect. A very satisfied customer. Be Well, Be Safe, Be Blessed. "Jerry stripped and resealed a very old saltillo tile floor. He also took down the old 4 x 4 Mexican tile off the wall and installed new Mexican tile for the baseboard on the wall and around the bottom of a kiva fireplace. Everything looked beautiful after he completed the job. They were on time, friendly. professional and cleaned up when they were done. They definitely take pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company.

"The technician arrived promptly.  We walked through the house to look at what was to be done, and I provided him with a written list (which I never saw again). The actual patching was very well done, but the texturing on about half the patches was not very good. I felt the need to remind the technician about some of the patches, and I had to touch up about three of the deeper patches later. Cleanup was reasonably well done with a broom and dustpan, except for one of the patches where there were bits of old drywall left on the floor. After I vacuumed, all was again in order.  I had the feeling that the quality of cosmetic work became lower as time went on.
In summary, the structural part of the patches was very well done, but the cosmetic part of the job was not.

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

There are many benefits to hiring a professional floor cleaner. First, these flooring pros know the right chemicals for your flooring type, which is essential for its longevity. Likewise, they have the proper deep-cleaning equipment, which is often more complex than a mop or broom. Not only that, but deep cleaning your floors can be a time-consuming process, and by hiring a professional, you can spend that time on other home improvement projects.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

Yes, you can polish an old cement floor. However, be aware that the first pass with the concrete grinder may reveal a few surprises and imperfections. You may also have to contend with the consequences of previous floor coverings, such as tile or carpet, which can leave a pattern in the concrete. Old concrete is more likely to produce uneven results if you want to use a dye or other coloring.
