"Very disappointing experience with this company. Took more than two hours and were not able to complete a job which a competent local company did in an hour. Scheduling and phone communications were a disaster to get a followup visit. They tried to charge me $270 for a few feet of wire and some keys. I found out from honest repairmen that one of the keys was unneeded and the other could be had online for $17! They did not ever answer my request for a breakdown on the bid. Unresponsive and incompetent. Over charged and under served!"

"Hello, Dojo Builders built our house in 2018. Each year we have had problems with the construction. Every year we have had a roof leak. First year we discovered the water heater was improperly ventilated and would not function and had to be replaced. Improperly sealed tile. Leaking sink. Crumbling concrete steps. Most problematic has been the multiple roof leaks every year for seven years. Two bedrooms and one bathroom have had roof leaks. Stucco has pulled away from the exterior windows causing additional leaks. All within the first 7 years of construction. "

It depends on the construction of your wall. Most handypeople can fix small holes in drywall. If your wall is plaster or brick, more significant damage may require a drywall contractor or a mason. Your peel-and-stick wallpaper can fall off for multiple reasons, including high humidity levels, extreme temperature changes, poor installation, and even the wall surface. Textured walls can prevent the adhesive from fully sticking to the wall, making it more likely for the wallpaper to peel off. Low-quality wallpapers with weaker adhesives are also more likely to fall off prematurely.

Many types of peel-and-stick wallpaper can hold up to environments with some level of moisture, such as bathrooms—especially peel-and-stick wallpapers made of vinyl or polyester. However, if you’re considering wallpapering a bathroom that sees a lot of moisture, like a kids’ bathroom or a full bathroom with a steamy shower and inadequate ventilation, even the highest quality wallpapers will peel.

You can paint over wallpaper if it’s smooth and in good shape. But if there are bumps or tears in the wallpaper, they’ll likely show through the paint. Similarly, you should avoid painting over textured wallpaper because the ridges and patterns in the paper will be visible. In either of these situations, you should remove the wallpaper before painting.
