AL'S APPLIANCE REPAIR

I found my refrigerator had stopped running overnight, on a Saturday, of course. I called Al's and spoke to a REAL PERSON right away! They said that they wouldn't be able to get anyone out until Monday, and were apologetic about that fact--which they had NO need to do, at all. I thought their response time was great!! At any rate, Marc came on Monday morning, as promised. He ran a few tests and said that he would be back on Tuesday afternoon because he couldn't confirm, for sure, that the compressor was burnt out. He returned on Tuesday, as promised and as scheduled, and informed me that the news was bad. The refrigerator had to be replaced. He offered me wonderful advice on brands and types, wished me well with my search for a new fridge, and offered to come back to provide repairs on any of my other appliances. I can't say how pleasant it was to deal with Marc. He was not only professional and personable, but I immensely appreciated his honesty and advice, and his willingness to assure that my issue was resolved--even if it required a second trip! I enthusiastically recommend Al's for appliance repair. They are awesome!!

The folks at Al's were very responsive when I called. They came out and determined that we needed a new ice maker. It sounded reasonable, so we gave them the go-ahead. They ordered it and returned very promptly to install it. The whole process only took a couple of days. They were very professional and pleasant. The only problem was, that did not solve the problem. After a lot of research on my own, I figured out that because we have such hard water in Santa Fe, sometimes it appears in the ice even when it does not appear in the filtered water. This led me to conclude that there really wasn't anything wrong with the ice maker. Either we live with the cloudy ice or we buy bags of ice. The new ice maker was $270.00. Should they have known that before charging us $270? Maybe.

dryer works fine. Mark and his assistant were polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this service provider and will use them again, if needed.
