"Found Ortega's tile through homeadvisor. Carmelo visited my home to give an estimate on a small 300 square foot job (removing carpet from two bedrooms and installing tile.) The estimate rec'd 12 hours later was very reasonable. They picked the tile up at the supplier, and delivered it our home. The next day his nephew arrived and started work, pulling the carpet et al and stacking it neatly to be hauled away. He started with the tile work on the first day, continued on the 2nd and on the third day, Mr. Ortega and son arrived as well to finish the job. They did an excellent job on both rooms, reinstalling the base board, caulking it and sealing the nail holes - then they cleaned the area very well, and left the work area neat, and clean. when it was time to write the check, he lowered the price by $150, because since I had changed the tile to be installed, there was no need to grout - and he reduced the labor expense accordingly.
