"Rob was a good match for us and the work that we needed done. Communication was strong - response was swift, including for at least one accidental phone call. His installation work was 5 / 5. Because he was working in a rail space that had been recently insulated; the project manager also inspected Rob's work to make sure his team did not need to do any follow up repairs. He was very impressed by Rob's workmanship. Rob's mitigation work resulted in a significant reduction in radon levels as measured by our Corentium Home 2 devices from Airthings, this device measures radon/temp/humidity continuously and allows us to monitor levels via the app. if you are concern about radon in your home, I would recommend both Rob from Tri-state, and understanding your long term radon levels using a device such as the Corentium Home 2 device. "Radon Shield was hired after I got a higher then expected reading for radon in by home when selling it. Benedict shared a lot of great advice about radon gas in the home, he was able to schedule the install in a very fast time frame which was extremely helpful because I was selling my home. "The service was a Radon Remediation System...not listed above. Benedict and his brother were GREAT. I needed it to sell my home and they drive 90 miles and come out in just a couple days. The work involves boring through your basement floor, piping up and out of the house and up above the roof line with a fan and pressure gauge installed. I was apprehensive but trusted their "get right to it" attitude and the finished project is neat, clean and sealed in all necessary areas. Long term exposure to Radon can potentially cause cancer. The home tested as high as 5.2 (4.0 is bad) and after the system was installed another test read 0.3...virtually none. They were easy to deal with by phone, text and email and while I am unhappy that I had to spend the money, I feel it was WELL SPENT. I highly recommend them to resolve such a "mysterious " issue."
