They came and assessed the damage and told me they would give me an estimate in a couple of days. NO CONTACT SINCE, NEVER AN EMAIL OR PHONE CALL, NOTHING. I am very disappointed in them. In fact I contacted two other recommended contacts from Angie's list, NONE OF THEM GOT BACK TO US.

Mold damage was more extensive than I had hoped. Extra outside services were advised. Not sure all of those recommendations were needed.

Job was so well done that the areas really do not need painting.

Mixed. A quick response for inspection (done by Bill) and scheduling for mold remediation, which was done by 2 workers (John and Jen) during the height of a heat wave. However, extremely poor follow-up regarding installation of a dehumidifier (if I'd known how simple this was, I would have ordered and done this myself - just plug it in, program a few super-easy settings and attach the drainage line). . I thought that the initial price for the remediation was fair, but I was advised that an easily available dehumidifier for ~$200.00 was not sufficient and I agreed to an allegedly higher-quality unit for $300.00. The remediation was done on a Saturday and a fan was left running until Monday evening. When John returned for the fan removal and some other follow-up work, he said that he would stop at The Home Depot on his way home to pick up the dehumidifier and that he would call me on the next day, but he NEVER called me. The office manager (Melissa) was on vacation and I left a phone message and tried to reach the company via the website for whomever was covering during Melissa's absence, but I did not receive a return call. I finally reached Melissa after her return. . More than 3 weeks after the fan removal, a temporary dehumidifier was hooked up (I was not told the reason for a delay regarding the "permanent" unit). The pump did not work, so I had to manually empty the unit twice daily for 9 days until the "permanent" unit was installed (which is very loud and runs 24/7, rather than cycling on and off). Subsequently, through online research, I discovered that this unit was available and in stock from a variety of sources for as low as $215.06 from Target.com - and I paid Eco Tech LLC $300.00 for what I was told was better than the $200.00 units. Two days ago, I e-mailed Bill about this, with no response. Last night, I forwarded that same e-mail to Melissa and, thus far (as of 1:30 p.m. during the weekday), I have not received any response from her or anyone else.

Just bought a new home, and found signs of mold in our finished basement.  I knew I was buying a home that still needed a few things, but wasn't expecting this much mold.  From the very beginning the company was extremely responsive. I called and left a message, and by the end of the day I received a call back and had an appointment scheduled.  I wasn't home but my wife walked Tom through.  She said he was very thorough and found all of the areas that were in question by us and more.  At this time, we have already received 3 additional mold estimates so we already had a little more knowledge than we did initially going into this.  To be honest the other 3 mold companies were also on they're game too, but Ecotech was the winner for us.  Compared to the other 3 estimates Ecotech was by far the most thorough and competitive.  They came in with their crew on a Wedsnesday morning and were finished the job by Thursday afternoon.   I have about a 700 sq/ft finished basement with old paneling and carpet, and to me it seemed as if it was a big job.  They removed all contaminated areas and disposed of it all very neatly.  Each morning and afternoon they came up to brief us as to their progress and what we can expect moving forward. They were extremely informative, and made sure they prepped us on how to be preventative in the future.  Couldn't be happier to know that we selected the right company for the job.  Do your selves a favor call Ecotech 1st.  Not that I want to ever have use a mold company again :) but if I had to I would call these guys again without any hesitation.

I could not be happier with this company. They did the work right away, even working on the weekends. They were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how to get the debris tested they have been very responsive. They have continued to be helpful to me in dealing with the company that left the silica dust in my home. You will not be disappointed if you use this company. I have never seen a company that is so attentive to your needs.

Kevin performed the work and I can't stress enough how impressed I was by his empathy to my situation and the care he took in removing the mold. He is a true professional, honest, and took pride in the quality of the work and service delivered. Knowing that he thinks, in his expert opinion, that all the mold is out of my basement gives me peace of mind that the problem is actually solved. Photos were taken throughout the job to document the extent of the damage. The pricing was very fair and honest.

He came and checked the whole home, talked to my husband and told us that there is no sign of mold or anything else that would indicate that an air quality check would be necessary. He explained to us what he think the causes might be and because this would be outside of his area of work he recommended against the test. It was great to have someone knowledgeable and honest. He could have done the test anyway and charge us the $300, but he didn't. I would definitely recommended. He was very trustworthy and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The men from Eco Tech were wonderful, they handled our problem as soon as we called them. Our finished family room flooded, and spread through the bathroom, utility room, hallway and garage. What a mess. They came and checked out all the damage from the flooding. They came in and accessed the areas that were flooded, they checked the walls to see how high the water reached on the sheetrock. Once that was done, the removed those areas where the sheet rock was wet. They removed all the wet materials and treated all those areas with a mold spray. They put in Large fans and dehumidifiers for about 5 days to completely dry out the area, once that was done they did the rebuild to put all the Sheetrock back and sanding for a smooth surface. EcoTech was more than professional, very pleasant and explained what the were doing and answered our questions. They moved all the items in each room, they wrapped and protected all of our items. I would highly recommend them to anyone that would have flooding issues. I congratulate them on their fine business.

EcoTech, PA Mold Solutions really helped us out when our house was flooded. We have a summer home at the shore and during one of our up-keep visits during the winter we found a broken hose from the fridge spilling water into the kitchen, living room, dining room & foyer. Everything was soaked. We called EcoTech who was out the next day to access the damage & provide an estimate cost of repair. We agreed and work started the same day. The workers were professional  and did an outstanding job removing furniture, wet hardwood flooring, carpeting, drywall and whatever. They set up the equipment to dry out the area and did the proper readings to make sure all potential mold was eliminated. The actual cost was lower than quoted which was a nice surprise. In addition to the good work, they were very knowledgeable about what was needed to be done. It was helpful to have guidance during a stressful situation. They showed a willingness to work/talk with our insurance carrier and gave us payment options. They were also patient with us for payment during our dealings with the insurance company. I hope I don?t need their services but if do, I would go back to them and I would recommend you do too.

ECO TECH provided excellent service and remediated the mold and performed the necessary air quality test. Workers showed up on time for pretest, remediation and final air test and results. Over and above this excellent work, Tom McGuire was instrumental in helping us deal with the company we had hired previously. The first company was not qualified to remediate mold because they could not perform the required air test and the mold grew back in a few days after they had supposedly treated it. Tom helped us contact them, spoke with them himself and hopefully we will be receiving a refund. ECO TECH is the real deal - professional, thorough,cost effective and reliable. Can't sing their praises high enough.

This is an old house built late 1800 early 1900. We had Bill come out and do our attic a couple of weeks ago, he did such a good job we had him come out again on 5/23 to do our basement that cost was 3150.00 and an eave off the attic was done on 5/29 that cost was 1800.00. They had to remove lots of boxes and junk also insulation in the eves in an area that should not have insulation, turns out it was wet so possible condensation or roof leak. They were on time, did the job efficiently and cleaned up the entire area after they were finished with the mold removal. The place looks great and smells so much better.
I would highly recommend them.

They performed an excellent job and gave me enough facts upon which I can make informed decisions on whether or not I should use them or another service. They will not hype the situation that I am in especially since everyone panics when they hear the word mold. They just bring the word back to earth for me. They are respectful of my property and time.

Bill and his crew got here right on time at 0900.
They went straight to work removing boxes debre and insulation that should of never been there.
Bill was planning on 1-2 days of work. He was short a worker but they managed to get the job done in one day.
His crew had to leave at 5:00pm and he stayed on finishing the job until 9:00pm.
Wow what dedication. He knew I had just come home from the hospital a few days ago with pneumonia, I have severe allergies to mold and take allergy injections.
I was holed up in a room away from all the work with air purifiers on to keep any residual stuff from coming in my direction. I am sure he could here me coughing away as I am still recouperating.
It was super of him to take time out of his personal life to finish the job so I could go back to the rest of the house by tomorrow morning.

The episode started with an on line search and selection of Eco Tech from web description and fact that they had an office in close proximity. The ability to conveniently schedule a next day appointment without human intervention was the clincher. An email confirming the appointment time was returned in an hour. Very satisfying experience. No waiting for and quot;the next availableand quot;, etc.

Spoke with a representative the following morning (he called me) to confirm, elaborate on problem and circumstance, the scope of service, cost range, all defined. Agreed to meet at 2pm in afternoon.

Representative arrived shortly BEFORE 2pm. Very professional but friendly manner. Visually surveyed the area, returned to van to get appropriate equipment. Performed physical inspection of area and provided comment and pointed out surrounding environment pros and cons. Noted that roof was steel, not wood which significantly reduced the possibility of mold.

Completed inspection in a half hour and departed.

Very satisfying experience. I would highly recommend....convenient, competent, professional and great value!
