"While our basement came out good, there were several extra costs that our PM John came up with that we feel could have been included prior to the work beginning in the contract or in the extras section of the contract. Things like stair replacement, trying to get us to install 2 sump pumps + a second electric panel. Regarding the pumps, the plumber actually recommended against the 2 pumps as he was able to connect all of our window wells to a single pump, also eliminating the need for a second panel. They also installed low quality hi-hats as our lights continue to flicker and pretty much told us that it?s normal and nothing can be done. Lastly, the workers left our unfinished area a mess at the end of the project- leftover debris and our furnace a water heater were left covered in dust.
