Cesar and his crew just finished a remodel of my master bathroom. This is the second major project completed in my home by CSZ (prior kitchen remodel) and once again they exceeded my expectations. Cesar worked with me along the way to come up with the perfect design to ensure all my requirements were met. He is knowledgeable and his attention to detail is second to none. Cesar remodeled our basement, and we cannot be happier with his work! He worked with us the whole way to make sure we were happy with the work. He even put a custom wine rack in. The new basement is so beautiful and we get so many compliments. My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects.

I purchased a multifamily house with 2 stories. The 2nd floor had 1 inch original hardwood from 1920 that laid on the floor joists so you could hear every footstep downstairs and my tenants almost moved out. I hired Cesar to take on a tedious and technical ceiling soundproofing technique for the apartment using RSCI rubber clips, hat channels, insulation, and making the 1st floor airtight. I was so impressed with how he was able to juggle handling my tenant for 2 weeks, compensating for delayed shipping by driving 3 hours to New York and picking up the materials himself to make sure we meet the deadline, redoing 1 entire room at his loss and not charging me for it because the original technique we tried did not work, and listening and working with me to make sure we didn't miss any details that would cause sound transfer (and this was impressive because I am very detail oriented). My tenants moved in and were very impressed by the finished looked of the new ceilings and crown molding. We saw a sound improvement of about 15 STC in both airborne and impact noise. It cut down sound transfer by 2/3 in the 1st floor apartment. I will be adding rubber underlayment upstairs underneath the new flooring to completely block out the rest of the impact noise that transfers from the floor above to the walls downstairs that support it! I'll be calling Cesar and his crew again.

We needed some restructuring of our existing kitchen cabinets to fit a new larger oven. Cesar and his crew did a great, high-quality job, and they were very professional and courteous. I also appreciated that they worked with drop cloths and cleaned up carefully after the job was done. Would definitely recommend!

Cesar does great work. He is reliable, kind and responsive. He replaced my kitchen cabinet doors, he installed my new bathroom: including vanity, medicine cabinet, light fixture, tile flooring, and toilet. All came out perfect. He replaced old closet doors with new bi-fold doors, and he helped with many other details I needed. I will definitely be using him again, I am very happy with everything!

Cesar and his workers' were prompt. Most importantly, they are efficient and professional individuals. They completed the home improvement projects as promised. Cesar also fixed another home improvement project; we had not discussed. Lastly, the team cleaned-up after they finished the home projects.

They did everything. It was amazing. They cleaned up after themselves every day. They were reliable and trustworthy. The attention to detail was superb. He went above and beyond and took care of small things we had never even discussed. He was communicative the whole time and his estimate on time to finish was right on. We were so happy and our kitchen is a dream come true. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

We have hired Cesar and his team for several jobs now, and wouldn't consider anyone else. From first contact to the completed project, we were impressed. After having some bad experiences with contractors it was such a relief to find a team of professionals. Not only do they complete the project, but they went above and beyond. For instance, while shoring up our main staircase, Cesar fixed a door that never closed right, now almost a year later it still closes! The projects we hired him for were to replace loose tiles in our tub/shower and fix the faucets as well. Just yesterday they finished removing tile and carpet from our kitchen, hallway and bathroom. They also installed a combination of vinyl plank flooring, tile and a bathroom vanity. The job took only 2 days. Overall Cesar and his team worked quickly and efficiently, in a timely manner and they cleaned up afterward. I highly recommend this operation.

Cesar and his team did an excellent job on a complicated kitchen remodel. They removed and replaced a tile floor and backsplash, installed appliances including an integrated refrigerator, installed sink, removed wallpaper and painted, put in new molding, and some electrical upgrades. Recommended the countertop contractor who was excellent. (Thanks Michael). Cesar was great to work with. He and his crew were careful, clean and considerate. They kept our kitchen usable as much as possible. And, they put in extra effort to have the job done in time for Christmas. We've already got projects in mind for him in the near future. This is the third and largest project that Cesar has done for me. He is without question the best contractor I have ever used. His tiling work is fantastic! He is Knowledgeable, Honest, Fair and completely trustworthy. We were away for long periods of time while he worked alone in our house. I won't even consider another contractor for any additional work that we would do in the future. We just did two bathrooms with him and they came out perfect. Cesar is an easy guy to work with and has a great work ethic. He's a first class, stand up guy!

He weatherproofed my balcony door, fixed a window and replaced the water line of my refrigerator. His prices are very competitive and he will be my go-to repairman from now on.
