Tom is a master craftsman, with impressive work ethic. Tom showed up at exactly 8 AM and worked diligently all day. His work product was excellent, having measured and installed a replacement tile floor and curb with a perfect fit - allowing replacement of custom frameless glass doors that had only 1/8 inch variation. (The original glass company did the removal / installation of the glass panels.) I would hire Tom again and heartily recommend him to others.

He did a great job. Its only been a couple of months since work was completed and all is good.

Pretty well. The rugs look A LOT better, and the tile and grout is noticeably cleaner and lighter in color. However, the corners and edges of the tile were not completely clean (presumably because their machine can't get into tight spaces). After they left, I cleaned those parts myself using an old toothbrush and various cleaning solutions. I also had to remove the paint splatter myself using "Goof Off". But overall, I am happy with the job because the floors were SO dirty before they came and they were SO much cleaner after they left. No one ever cleans my floors as well as I do, but it would have taken me FOREVER to achieve what they did with their professional equipment.

It was a wonderful experience. Tom was a pleasure to deal with. Since the job only took about 2 hours, Tom accommodated my work schedule and came promptly at 7:30 AM. The job looked great when it was finished and I would recommend Tom wholeheartedly!

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to recommend Tom to anyone looking to have tile work done in their home. Tom installed a ceramic backsplash in my kitchen and I'm so pleased with the job. Tom is a true professional with excellent work ethics. He arrived at my house on time, at 8:00, and didn't leave until the job was complete. The finished backsplash looks fantastic and its exactly as the picture I showed him. I couldn't be happier with Tom's work. I would not hesitate to use him again. Thanks again Tom!

I called Tom for an estimate and he showed up exactly when he said he would. I was happy with his proposal and scheduled the work. Tom installed ceramic tile on my kitchen subfloor. He removed the old tile floor in the bathroom and installed new tile. Since I am getting new countertops installed in my kitchen, I had him remove the old countertop and range hood as well. Tom was on time every day and cleaned up nicely. The floors came out great! I will be hiring Tom to install my kitchen backsplash and 2 additional rooms later on. He also told me how much tile and grout to get for each project. I would highly recommend Tom for any tile projects you may have.

I Can not say enough great things about our experience and results! Tom is amazing at what he does. He showed up every day at 8am on the dot and worked non-stop until 5pm. He finished our entire bathroom in one week, even with an unplanned add-in we threw at him last minute. He pays great attention to detail and is also very tidy and cleaned every day before he left. He went as far as to put a drip pan under his van when it was parked in our driveway. That is the kind of professional he is. Such a pleasure to work with, I would definitely recommend and hire Degen Tile again!

If you're still looking for a tile guy, stop. Tom is great. I don't think there was a day he arrived a minute before or after 8am. He was on time everyday and worked hard. I've never met a contractor so neat either. He cleaned up everyday and kept his work space very organized. The quality of the tile job was excellent as well. It's clear Tom takes great pride in his work. My wife and I were very pleased.

I spoke and dealt with Tom. Tom responded to my inquiry call very quickly, we set up a meeting for a  estimate. He arrived on time and  he was very pleasant and professional. He provided a written estimate including exactly the supplies I would need to pickup. His estimated price was very good. He gave me an approximate work date for the job.  I told him I would get back to him in a few days.  Two days later, Tom actually followed up with me. I had by then received my other two estimates, and decided to go with Tom.  A few days later Tom called to let me know he actually had an opening and could come the same week, I didn't have to wait. He came on time the day of the job, did an absolutely beautiful job, and cleaned up afterwards. The full experience was very pleasant and I would highly recommend Tom and have him back for any future work!

Tom did such an amazing  job on the bathroom renovation.  His tile work is fantastic.   He had recommended removing the soffit in the shower.  It looks so much larger now.  All of his suggestions were to improve the bathroom.  They were very well received.  The bathroom now looks amazing.  He's so easy to work with and has a wealth of knowledge and skill.  It was a pleasure working with him.  We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Everything went really great.  Tom was very responsive to my calls and kept me informed of his schedule as we neared the original estimated date.  I happened to work from home on the days Tom was here and when I would go in to see how things were progressing, Tom was always laser focused and I could tell he was working hard.  He definitely was not one to take his time and drag out the project to milk as much money as he can out of you.   We threw a curve ball by adding a design we had not anticipated.  Tom was honest that it could take longer than originally planned and we knew that upfront b/c he explained when we met him for the original estimate that if we were to change the design by adding angled cuts or something, that it would take longer. We were okay with that b/c we wanted it done right and we did not want to settle for something we did not love and would have to stare at it every day for the rest of our lives.   The final product was beautiful.  My wife was super happy, which in turn makes me happy.   I would certainly recommend Tom to anyone that is looking for a great tile contractor and one that is also responsive.   if we ever need tile work in the future, Tom will be the first person I reach out to.

Excellent!! Tom was punctual, polite, clean and excellent and what he does, he even took the time to explain how and why he was doing things. Extremely happy with the end result. I would not hesitate to use Tom again for any job large or small. In fact planning on using his services for the en suite remodel in early 2016!

Ton has got to be one of the BEST contractor I have ever worked with!  He is punctual for both the initial visit to give an estimate and on the day of the job.  It was actually pouring on that day so I was expecting traffic problems but he was right on time.  He is clean - my main bath is on the second floor and he is the only contractor who brought carpet runners to cover each and every one of my wooden stairs.  At the end of the day, my hallway, stairs and foyer is spotless.  He even went as far as reaching for a roll of paper towels and windex to clean my glass storm door because there was some dirt on it. He is reasonably price and he knows what he is going.  My floor came out beautiful and more importantly evenly leveled!  I would definitely hire him again.
