"We had an older Heatmaker combination unit boiler that was 32 years old that needed to be replaced. We started out with several estimates and first decided what could be used in our space constrained garage. We decided on a Navien combination unit and focused a obtained a couple more estimates. Dawson in fact was one of the last estimates we obtained. While Dave from Dawson had the benefit of us being well along the learning curve, he was able to answer all of our questions about the new unit and how best to solve the condensate dilemma. He even was spot on with regards to treating our well water to minimize scale buildup in our new boiler. We knew we had reached that point where we felt we had found the best installer in Dave. Dave verified his condensate solution with the local township inspector and we scheduled the install date in two weeks. Carlos and Pablo showed up on time and dismantled the old unit and piping and did a first rate and well thought out installation job. Carlos had extensive experience installing these Navien units and it really showed. They managed to work in a tight space that PSE&G’s installers would not have with relocating a well tank. After all the plumbing was done, Ricky did the electrical work and adjusted some final dip switch settings before firing up the new boiler. Dave and his crew really are top notch. His front office staff (Wanda and Ondrea) made the PSE&G interest free financing and permitting approval process seemless. We are looking forward to the operation and efficiency of our new high efficiency boiler for years to come. If you are installing a Navien high efficiency combo unit, we highly recommend using Dawson Mechanical!"

She kept me updated throughout the afternoon in regards to availability of a service person to come out to our home. Steve arrived promptly and in the expected time frame provided. We went over the issues our home was experiencing and he clearly communicated the anticipated issue, explained the service to remedy the issue and clearly went over pricing options. He didn't push/oversell, which I appreciated, and based our favorable rapport, I also had our boiler serviced, which was handled by Matt. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation.
