"We had an older Heatmaker combination unit boiler that was 32 years old that needed to be replaced. We started out with several estimates and first decided what could be used in our space constrained garage. We decided on a Navien combination unit and focused a obtained a couple more estimates. Dawson in fact was one of the last estimates we obtained. While Dave from Dawson had the benefit of us being well along the learning curve, he was able to answer all of our questions about the new unit and how best to solve the condensate dilemma. He even was spot on with regards to treating our well water to minimize scale buildup in our new boiler. We knew we had reached that point where we felt we had found the best installer in Dave. Dave verified his condensate solution with the local township inspector and we scheduled the install date in two weeks. Carlos and Pablo showed up on time and dismantled the old unit and piping and did a first rate and well thought out installation job. Carlos had extensive experience installing these Navien units and it really showed. They managed to work in a tight space that PSE&G’s installers would not have with relocating a well tank. After all the plumbing was done, Ricky did the electrical work and adjusted some final dip switch settings before firing up the new boiler. Dave and his crew really are top notch. His front office staff (Wanda and Ondrea) made the PSE&G interest free financing and permitting approval process seemless. We are looking forward to the operation and efficiency of our new high efficiency boiler for years to come. I gave the ok and 40 minutes later the new boiler and components were deliivered and an hour after that they began the job -finishing the next morning. "They were able to quickly come out and worked to diagnose the problem. After the Air Conditioner checked out the service man moved to the furnace where he found several issues. The furnace could have been repaired, but due to its age (30 years old) and the cost of repairs it was better to replace. The gentleman walked me through the options and helped me determine what was best for my home. He didn't pressure me to purchase the most expensive option and I felt comfortable making the decision. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly. The day of the replacement, the crew was polite, professional, and did a great job installing. "Called for estimate to install light switch, customer service was great and set up an appointment for a visit. Technician was on time and very professional. The light switch was for a garage exterior light and had easy accessibility to run the lines. When the technician told me that it would cost $600; I almost had a heart attack! No Thanks! To make it even better I had to pay a $29 service fee just for them to come and shock me with the cost! Also, I now receive phone calls and emails trying to sale me other services. No Thanks! Since then, I called one other company and the same job will cost $175..."

I called up Good Tidings late in the day and Kelly was helpful and communicative in terms of expectations for service. She kept me updated throughout the afternoon in regards to availability of a service person to come out to our home. Steve arrived promptly and in the expected time frame provided. We went over the issues our home was experiencing and he clearly communicated the anticipated issue, explained the service to remedy the issue and clearly went over pricing options.
