"Dave was very responsive to my needs and always answered my questions immediately either by email, phone, or text. He got the work done professionally and I am VERY happy with the finished product. My cherry cabinets now look beautiful! He even came in under budget ($700 less than other estimates for the same work) and I was extremely pleased with his ability to get things done so quickly. I would recommend him for any cabinet/kitchen/refacing work. He also completely fixed my worn and damaged kitchen table (water stains, etc), chairs (scratches), and black bench, and they now look brand new! My husband and I are very pleased. Marble is harder and less prone to scratching and denting, though it still requires maintenance and sealing to prevent stains and etching. Unfortunately, the product Bar Keepers Friend won’t remove etching from stone countertops. In fact, it can make it worse. Bar Keepers Friend contains oxalic acid, which can cause further damage to natural stones like marble or limestone.

Cracks are usually repaired using an epoxy filler that matches the countertop's color. The area is cleaned, the epoxy applied, and then polished to blend with the surface, restoring both strength and appearance.

You should always seal cut countertops to prevent damage and to keep them looking their best. The right way to seal countertops depends on the type of material. For laminate and wood, apply epoxy or other specialty sealers by pouring it onto the countertop and letting it flow across the whole surface to the edges, guiding it with a paint stick or putty knife. You will need to move quickly so that it does not dry or harden before you are done. For stone countertops, use a sealant specially manufactured for your type of stone and apply it according to manufacturer directions.
