Classic Copper Works uses time honored German copper smith techniques handed down from father to son and passed on to our highly skilled artisans. We specialize in the fabrication of custom copper & bronze products and other metal specialties. WE DO NOT OFFER REPAIR SERVICES OF ANY KIND. Additional phone number - (888) 908-5339.

"Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."

"Good for small jobs (replacing faucet), but apparently not for larger jobs. Contractors obviously were not skilled at what they were doing and caused more long-term damage. Also cheap materials were used despite request to use quality materials. Looked terrible in short time. Very displeased. Will not use again."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Upgrading your roof in Fargo improves comfort by sealing out drafts, reducing ice dam formation, and supporting consistent indoor temperatures during harsh winters. Enhanced attic ventilation and insulation also prevent condensation and mold, which are common in the region’s humid summers. A new roof can also dampen noise from hail and wind, making your home quieter and more energy efficient year-round.

Helpful?

In Fargo, roof valleys, eaves, and gutters are especially prone to ice buildup and water intrusion. South-facing slopes often experience faster wear from sun exposure, while flashing around chimneys and roof vents can loosen during freeze-thaw cycles. Flat roof sections and areas beneath large trees are also vulnerable to damage from heavy snow loads and falling branches, making regular inspection essential.

Helpful?

In Fargo, neglecting to clear windblown debris from your roof, allowing ice dams to form, and using salt to melt rooftop snow can all damage roofing materials. Walking on asphalt shingles during cold snaps may crack them. Regularly check attic insulation and ventilation, and promptly address missing shingles after storms. These habits help your roof withstand Fargo’s temperature swings and heavy snowfall.

Helpful?

Combining roofing with other exterior upgrades in Fargo can be especially efficient given the city’s frequent hail and wind events. Pairing roof replacement with siding, gutter installation, or attic insulation helps reduce the number of contractor visits and streamlines permit approvals. Coordinating these projects also ensures better weatherproofing and energy efficiency, while minimizing disruption to your household during Fargo’s short construction season.

Helpful?

Fargo homeowners should inspect their roofs each spring for shingle loss from winter storms, clear gutters after snowmelt, and check for leaks around skylights. In summer, look for hail damage and trim overhanging branches. Fall is ideal for removing leaves from gutters and ensuring attic insulation is intact before cold weather. During winter, monitor for ice dams and safely remove excess snow to prevent roof stress.
