"Felt rushed to approve the work and pay the balance. Discovered multiple issues later. Just inside the door there's a rock they missed, so now it's under the plastic, which will sooner or later puncture through. I asked for a better door than the one the first installed, but the second was also poorly made and didn't come close to sealing. Called/talked to someone about the issues, but afterward they stopped returning my calls. They also left lots of debris on the ground. The inspection didn't pass for multiple reasons. Waiting for them to come back and address the issues the inspector found. Update: THBS did follow up and fix the issues. They constructed a new crawlspace door that seals, which was the biggest issue. They took out the problematic rock. The inspection passed."

"Tarheel encapsulated our crawlspace. They cleaned out the bulk of the debris and sprayed fungicide. They also managed to knock over a post jack. The second day they put a sump pump and replaced the old insulation They installed reinforced plastic sheeting, including over the base of the fallen post jack. The insulation began falling within a few hours of the crew leaving. They did send a second crew to fix this. Our older furnace depends on the under-house vents to breathe. These were all sealed up. The furnace pulled combustion air out of the house until I cut the vents open. In digging the sump well (at one of the highest points of the crawlspace) they cracked the sewer line, which let gravel fall in. Whenever the drains back up enough, the sump pump sends raw sewage out to the front yard. I am currently waiting for an estimate from the plumber to replace the broken sewer pipe and move the sump pump. I have called to discuss this and hope to eventually get a return call. "
