Drainage & Waterproofing Solutions LLC - I recently had some major drainage work done at my home and they did an awesome and professional job - I would highly recommend them! Jaris (owner) came out promptly as scheduled to evaluate the work required and provided an estimate the next day with options to do separately, if needed. Once I called to schedule the work, they were able to schedule within the next month. The crew arrived on time and Jaris was on site to provide direction to his crew to ensure the job was done correctly. The crew were very respectful and did a professional job. Gutters were connected to drainage pipes in both the front and back of my house and a drainage grate was installed to collect water runoff from other yards with a pipe taking the water to the rock bed. Grass sections and plants were set to the side to easily replace once drainage pipe was installed. Plastic was placed on the ground to put the dirt while digging the path for the drainage pipes. All areas were clean and very tidy when the crew left – no trash was left behind. Plants and grass were replaced and looked undisturbed. All work was completed as agreed with high professionalism. I am very pleased with the work done and would highly recommend this company for drainage work.

During a hard rainstorm, we found water gushing in from around the water pipe, where it enters the basement through the concrete block foundation. We called Drainage & Waterproofing Solutions for help. Their crew arrived on time and did high-quality work. Outside the foundation they excavated five feet of soil to just below the waterline entrance, sealed around the waterline, cleaned and parged the brick foundation, applied waterproofing to the wall, then two layers of waterproof membrane, and gravel fill before filling the remainder with soil. Inside, they sealed around the waterline where it enters the basement. They left the outside as clean as they found it. Great! Originally, it was to replace a portion of my 'French drain' (external drain system). Between the time they quoted and scheduled that project, a sink hole appeared in my backyard (underground storm drain that runs under my property). They quoted and added the storm drain repair to the project and agreed to do it on the same day of French drain work. 1. They were able to get to the project a day earlier than scheduled. Not my request, they were ahead of schedule. They called to ask if they could come earlier than scheduled. (Of course, who would not want a project completed ahead of schedule?) Not likely a regular occurrence. But it shows their customer service ethic. 2. Very prompt! Very well organized. They had a plan; they worked the plan. They worked as a team. Most efficient work flow I could imagine for the project. 3. Explained what they were doing in detail and why. 4. Super clean up. As promised in the quote, they worked to control the dirt they dug up, replaced it into the work area, picked up all their tools and trash. 5. Left project area neatly raked and smoothed. I highly recommend this team for work as described above. I have no reason to doubt they apply the same efficiency and ethics to any project they get.

We are very happy with Jaris and his team. I got several quotes for my project and his was very reasonable and he was easily the easiest person to work with. He installed a large underground drainage system that runs from the front of the house all the way through the side and back yard, with 4 inch feeder pipes and a 6 inch main pvc pipe, and five downspouts and a large surface drain all coupled in, with cleanouts installed at various locations. They had to dig a 12 inch deep trench 12 inches wide, probably 200 feet long. They cut the turf so carefully and installed it back over the pipe so well that when they were finished you could hardly tell that they had been there. Jaris ran into additional drainage problems we hadn’t anticipated and fixed those with additional pipes and couplings for no additional fee. He is really, really focused on ensuring he does a great job and that you are a happy customer, and he succeeded on both accounts. I highly recommend him.

Perfectly. Jaris and his team are true professionals, know exactly what they're doing and do it well. After much research, we realized that interior basement waterproofing is an inferior solution to exterior, since it merely pumps the water out, which erodes the foundation over time, rather than keeping it out to begin with. We met with two other major exterior waterproofing companies, as well as Drainage and Waterproofing Solutions. The first company seemed like they give the same solution, no matter what the particularities of the situation are, and the second company was all about the hard sell. When I met with Jaris, his expertise and focused interest on the needs of our property sealed the deal. He and his hardworking team really did a wonderful job. They waterproofed only one side of our house, where the major problem was, but we will be asking them back to do the other side, as well. Highly recommend.

Jaris and Son did a fantastic job. They showed up on time and worked hard all day long. They pointed out a couple of issues on my deck that I would not otherwise have noticed that will save me a bunch of aggravation later on. They are driven to please their customers and communicate clearly all along the line. We are totally pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them or hire them again if need be. They did a terrific job on cleanup and restoration and well as installation. Hands down one of the best experiences we've had for this kind of work.

He is also very knowledgeable. In fact, on the subject job above, I first met Jaris through another contractor who recommended him because he felt my job was too complex for the scope of his company. Jaris stepped in and did the job and at a very fair price. That job was done well over a year ago and we have had no problems. He has done a couple of smaller unrelated jobs for us since then; all with the same level of quality and professionalism. Jaris is a rare find in the world of small independent contractors. I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Jaris and his team to waterproof our basement. It went really well. I was totally impressed with Yaris' responsiveness and punctionality. Also, he thinks ahead about issues that had not been part of the original plan, but he saw they would be a problem. This has not been my experience with other contractors. While Yaris was not my cheapest estimate, it was because he will use the best materials for the job. Other estimates were for a lower quality of materials. I was really pleased when the town environmental specialist came by to look at the work and made a point to tell me what a good job I was getting. Lastly, there was one item related to caulking match that I was not completely happy with. Yaris was back the next day to fix it. He will do everything possible to leave his job with happy and satisfied customers!
