"It was hard to find a contractor to install wood flooring without the customer purchasing through them. I sourced my own hickory hard wood. Rodas Construction gave a competitive quote to remove existing engineered wood, install new hard wood, and to move furniture and appliances. Other contractors wanted me to find my trades to store furniture and remove appliances. The end result is beautiful. I called the back to restrain my stairs and bannister as well as replace poorly installed transitions done by a recent wood installation on my 2nd floor by another company. We will be having additional renovations done and will call Rodas Construction. The staff are kind and respectful. They completed my job timely and kept a tidy workspace and cleaned when the work was completed."

"The company employed 3 different crews to complete a front of the house remodel. These crews did, stone work, carpentry and landscape (drainage)) work. "If there was a word better than amazing, that is the word I use to describe working with Duane Knight, the owner of UBuiltit. We live in Michigan and found a beautiful lot on a beautiful lake that we just had to have. The downside was the house on that lot was, to put it nicely, a dump! We brought Duane to our site, talked over the vision and the rest is history! He managed the process from start to finish. From tearing the previous “dump” down to celebrating with us as we moved in. Duane let me be as involved as I wanted to be, which was my absolute favorite part. He let me meet the contractors and be apart of the whole process. He was responsive to my thoughts and ideas but also added his input when needed. He restrained us (budget wise) when needed but let us be creative in other ways. He was on site everyday and taught us so many things about the building process as we were first time home builders. He is a family man with great values and morals. I would not recommend anyone BUT Duane and UBuildIt!"

"Well, until they left. Randy was to return to 1) replace a cast iron shower pan that cracked during installation 3) fix the buckled vinyl flooring his crew put in one bathroom and the pantry and 3) mount a chimney cap. Never did. But the worst is that Randy took a 200 year old slab of old-growth pine (approximately 30" wide by 42" long by 2.5" thick) salvaged from my great-great-grandparents' home and promise me a coffee table. TWO YEARS LATER I CAN'T EVEN GET THE SLAB BACK."
