Get a phone call at 3 PM on 9/26 that they can't make it, but when I mention that I'm home, they tell me they can be right over (so far, so good). They come out to look at the tree that has fallen that needs to be cut up. They give me a price of $800, so far not bad. I asked if they grind stumps, they tell me yes. They look at two stumps around the house, then at the stumps in the driveway. Bennet (owner) tells me $1,100 for everything and they can do the work next Tuesday, 10/1/13. Get a phone call 2 hours later, they then tell me that they can do the work the next day, will be there first thing. I inform the owner that since I don't have a written quote and after talking with my wife, we want to think about it. Owner tells me I won't find a better price anywhere and that I need to jump on it. My fault, I fell for the pressure sales tactic. That said, since I didn't have a written contract, I texted the owner (Bennet) and told him that he miscounted my stumps in my yard, and what I wanted done with the tree to be cut down (wood to be stacked). Owner calls me back and tells me that because he miscounted the stumps, he will have to ask for another $100. Well, decent price, and the company knows what work is to be performed. They come out on Friday (so far so good) at 10 AM, and everyone is gone by 4 PM. I get home at 6 PM and the first thing I notice is that NONE of the stumps are grinded. OK, go back to the tree they cut up, and although they did clean the area where the tree fell, none of the wood was stacked (I told them I would like the wood to be in a size that could be chopped for firewood. Call the owner of the company that Friday after I looked at everything and he tells me that the stump grinding guys truck had a problem and he couldn't get out, and that he would be over tomorrow on Saturday (not bad, but we had plans to go away to a museum as a family on Saturday, so now I have to stay home). I'm then asked if I'm going to pay the $800 tonight. I inform them not till the entire job is done. Stump grinder guy comes out Saturday morning at 8AM (great guy IMO). The stump grinder guy subs work out to Warlicks. So, Warlicks was quoting the job and just assuming this guy would do the work for $400. Kicker is, Warlicks didn't clean up after the fact and I had to actually help the sub contractor remove some heavy tree trunks out of the way to grind the stumps. Ultimatetly, the only person I have to blame is myself. My only suggestion if you use Warlicks for any work down the road is to get everything in writing. I did find it both amusing and sad that if you check out Warlicks website, it states that they pay attention to detail. Amusing and sad in the fact that the owner counted 3 stumps when there was actually 17 of them. Good detail. Heavenly Heat Infrared Saunas are made for the chemically sensitive. That means that our infrared saunas create an ideal, safe, and effective detoxification environment for anyone seeking to eliminate toxic substances from their body.
"Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above."

FAQs for appliance sale projects in Whittier, NC
If you’re debating whether it’s worth repairing a damaged appliance, consider a few factors, including the appliance’s age and the cost to replace it. Large, high-value appliances are worth repairing, especially when the fixes are minor and the appliance is only a few years old. However, if the cost of repairs is more than half the price of a new item, then it may be worth replacing it. For example, if your refrigerator repair costs continue increasing and add up to more than 50% of the cost to replace it, you’re better off buying a new one.
In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
There are a few scenarios when replacing all kitchen appliances simultaneously makes sense, including major renovations, moving into a new home, or purchasing as a set. If you want to refresh your kitchen upon move-in day or start over during a renovation, consider purchasing and replacing your kitchen appliances at once to save on labor costs. Also, if your appliances are all original to the home or are older and require increasing amounts of maintenance and repair, replacing them all at the same time may be a good option.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
