Insurance Agencies
We joined for auto, home and motorcycle. The agency was very
unprofessional. They paid another policy with our debit card and then
the girl giggled and apologized but then said she would just try again.
When she did, she paid the right policy, but then it took days before our
money was returned to our account. The only apology we got was a ten
dollar gift card in the mail. They didn't think that it would hurt us
losing hundreds of dollars at Christmas.
Next. We cancelled vehicles and found out years later that they
added them back months after the cancellation, without our permission.
We were paying for vehicles that were sold years prior.
When we found out about this illegal adjustment
they said they didn't have any of our paperwork. It was all
missing. They refused to refund our money even though we had letters
from the DMV backing us up. Plainly stating the cancellation and bill of
sale where we no longer owned the vehicle. When we brought this to the
agency, they assured us that we had enough proof and that the company
HAD to reimburse us. They would call me ASAP.
They never called, I ended up having to call them!!!!
Only for them to say. "OH the company will only go back 30 days and give you that money back!"
So, they have kept Thousands of dollars of our hard earned money.
RIDICULOUS! How can this be legal? I am pulling up all my paperwork and going
to the Attny Gen and the BBB.
This agency is just so unprofessional. The lady at the front counter can't seem to speak
nor understand English most the time. I understand they need a bilingual receptionist
but how much help is she if she is paying policies for strangers with my debit card.
This agency has been nothing but a headache for me and my whole family.
I am with someone new now and I thank GOD because I couldn't handle one more surprised
cancellation or stress headache!
Since this is my only interaction with State Farm I can't really comment on the main company,
But, I can tell you that the Lisa Blackwell Agency is Unprofessional, unorganized and simply A JOKE!
