Eventually I was able to get quotes from 3 different contractors and they were all within $200 for each other, which I find amazing given it was a sizeable job. In the end I did not select American, only because they did not carry workers comp at the time. I understand they have since picked up workers comp. I do most home projects on my own but can't do it all on my own. I will certainly contact Michael for anything in the future I decide to hire out."

" My friend just used this company to do work at there home. So it was a recommendation. They came out to give us a estimate first. The price was reasonable and they were able to show us there work off a ipad. Which impressed us. Very professional. There was no down payment. We were able to pay with our bank card when job was completed.
So with the recommendation on top of that from my friend, we went with them. They started the next day. The job was done in 1 day. We just have to wait for the county building inspector to come out to inspected it. It looks great and were very happy.

The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job.
