Called Russel’s and scheduled appt in a few days but asked if someone canceled and they could fit us in sooner , we’d appreciate it. They ended up sending somebody out that night. Didn’t take long to figure out the issue. And the technician was very nice and helpful. Even sent quotes very next day for some additional work that we’re considering."

"Jason envisioned our kitchen floor to be in good shape (as it looked). However, after completing the work, he was not happy with it and explained that the old (1950s) floor had too much moisture, causing some areas to not absorb the finish as well. He refinished the floor a second time with a larger finisher (3 different levels of sandpaper!) at no additional cost. We are happy with the work. I think it tells a lot about someone on a project that doesn’t go as planned. Following up and making it right is very important. We would definitely hire Jason again."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "Owner Ricky Stroup was infinitely patient with us, as after our initial meeting it took us over a year to hire his company to do this work. During that year, we had multiple conversations with him regarding the scope of our project, and he was as willing to contract the scope as to expand it. "We got assigned this vendor through American Home Shield on June 7. Our AC unit was not holding 79 degrees in our upper floor. The tech came 5 days later and diagnosed a leak in the evaporator coil. They replaced it one week later ($3.5k). The following day, the unit was functioning worse than prior to the installation not holding 80 degrees in any of the floors. We called and came again 3 days later. One would expect they would come earlier as it was a follow up. They told us they need it to re-adjust the temperature of the compressor, apparently (they told us) this is common after coil replacement (why this was not done first? no idea!). One day after the visit, the unit still cannot hold 80 degrees in both floors. It is obvious the tech has no idea of what he is doing. At this point I am not sure the initial diagnosis and replacement of the coil (with the consequent fees of adding new refrigerant, $1800 + hand labor+ modifications, all not covered by AHS) was correct. Extremely frustrated experience. I would not recommend this vendor."
