"David did an outstanding job restoring my wood and vinyl floors. There was a tremendous amount of dirt, stains, and damage, and I never expected the floors to look as good as they did when he finished. The cost was also very fair. He will be my first choice for any future floor work."

Small jobs welcome

"Went from a 35 year old leaky bathroom to a beautiful modern bathroom including needed sub floor support, new flooring, beautiful tile oversize walk in shower with a rainfall and hand held shower head, corner seat, custom glass shower wall and door. New toilet, vanity, dual sinks, marble counter top. New recessed lights and a great paint job. Family and friends rant about the remodel and we absolutely LOVE it! Moving on to new kitchen and living room remodel. M & M are quality craftsmen and really care about what they do and do it right!"

Customers say: True professional

"Very professional! This is hard work. This company has a great work flow so that each person knows exactly what needs to be done. Miguel is very kind and patient. His crew is respectful, and before they left everything was clean, and explained. I moved here from the North, we use asphalt, I didn’t know much about concrete and reading about it was worse than watching paint dry. I am grateful for all of my questions being answered. If you want a professional work at a fair price. Call This company"

Customers say: Quality work

"Neil and his crew at Ultimate Edge did an incredible job applying garage floor epoxy on a very challenging slab. My floor sustained extensive fire damage which I did my best to patch and smooth. He was able to feather edge all my patches (which was not easy because of my novice patch skills) and knock down and level my ancient slab with his industrial size diamond cutter. Then he suggested the proper urethane material to use based his years of experience and the age/condition of my concrete. He was never pushy or tried to up-sell anything, but despite stepping up to his highest quality material that will last me a lifetime, his quote was still nearly $500 less a competitor's quote! And they were using lower quality material and were less confident about the final results of the job (based on my messed up slab and shotty patchwork). All in all, absolutely great job, and an even better value. I finally have the professional looking shop/garage of my dreams! Thanks guys!!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

Mix the resurfacer into a sticky mixture. The consistency should look like mashed potatoes. Use a squeegee to push the resurfacer across the pitted area and smoothen the surface with a cement trowel flush. Make sure you protect any expansion joints with a weather strip. Alternatively, cut out any resurfacer that touched the joint once the mixture begins to harden.

The type of paint you use on concrete influences how long it will last. Epoxy paint can last as long as 30 years and often comes with a warranty for at least 15 years. Another factor impacting the longevity of the paint is how much wear and tear the floors receive, such as heavy machinery or constant foot traffic, which can shorten the life span.

To keep your stamped concrete surfaces shiny, experts recommend resealing them every two or three years. Regularly cleaning your stamped concrete (at least twice per year, as part of routine maintenance) is another way to increase its sheen. Also, if you notice any spills or leaks, you should clean your stamped concrete as soon as possible to preserve its shine and prevent long-term damage.

Whether it's better to stain or paint concrete depends on your budget, desired aesthetic, and DIY skill level. Generally, staining is a more durable option because the stain soaks into the concrete's surface and won't wear away like a topical paint coating. Painting concrete can trap moisture underneath the paint layer, which may cause the concrete to deteriorate over time. However, concrete paint offers a wider variety of colors, is typically easier and less expensive to apply, and is effective at covering up existing stains or blemishes on the surface.

Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. While it doesn’t peel, the stain only penetrates the top layer of concrete, and as the top of the concrete eventually wears away, so will the stain. However, this process is much slower than paint peeling, especially on low-traffic surfaces.
