"Danzy did a great job in my floor; he was also helpful in advising me the best way to take care of it. He is very personable & friendly. I highly recommend him!"
"I originally called for closet door repair, which went perfectly. As he was leaving I asked about the possible repair of an outside pole repair on my front porch. He was also able to fix that in the same visit. I was very pleased and will definitely be using his business for future repairs."

"The crew showed up on time to power wash our house, screened porch that was covered with pine pollen and the drive that was looking very dingy. After washing the house all the windows were wiped with a squeegee and look amazing once all the pollen was gone from them as well. Furniture on the porch was moved as well as the rug in order to completely wash the floor. All plants were moved to protect them from damage. I have used Fairway before and always have found them to be professional and detailed. Definitely will use them again."
"Excellent - from start - choosing our stone - to finish - taking care of small issues left over from the installation. Office staff were very attentive, responded quickly to questions, took responsibility for issues until the job was done (even after we had paid in full). On-site staff were friendly, efficient, got the job done quickly and well. The craftsmen they recommended (tile, plumber) were excellent as well (we used a local plumber instead of their recommendation but we needed to get the recommended plumber in to finish the job correctly)."
"Excellent experience. They were very receptive to questions and keeping me informed through text messages. The process went smoothly and the floors are amazing. I would highly recommend them."
"The people from Fuquay Electric did a great job. They were on time and performed the work in less time than they estimated and the cost was at a reasonable price. I was highly satisfied with the work and price"
"Clean Hands did a great job for me. They were flexible with when the painting was done. More importantly the job was done well and the walls looked great. There was a sloped ceiling with some smoke markings that they took care of painting, now the room looks good again."
Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts
Adding burnt charcoal to your garden beds and plant pots can yield several benefits, but there are risks involved, too. Charcoal, particularly biochar, can enhance soil structure, improve water drainage, and increase nutrient retention. When activated, charcoal provides key nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, burnt charcoal, especially from briquettes, can inadvertently alter soil's pH levels and become hazardous to plants. Overall, there are better and less risky soil amendments available, such as vermiculite, perlite, or wood chips.
Eco-friendly materials include sustainably-sourced woods, recycled metals, low-VOC paints, and non-toxic sealants, which reduce environmental impact. Using these in repairs promotes sustainability and can improve indoor air quality and overall building health.
In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.
Minor fixes like patching leaks or repainting are DIY-friendly, but structural repairs require professional expertise.
The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.
