Rob and the team did a great job! We love the new shutters and the bedroom blinds. The blind on the sliding glass door is also fantastic. We could not be more pleased.

It was a couple of years ago. The service was great, as was the price and quality of the blinds. I would certainly hire them again if needed.

I was recommended to Rob by a neighbor after I had tried (and subsequently) failed to install out of the box blinds purchased from a big box store on my own. From the first email, Rob was responsive, professional, and fast. We began with a thorough in-home consult where he walked me through his product, not only educating me on the differences between his blinds and the out of the box blinds but also showing me those differences so I knew he wasn't just trying to sell me. We collaboratively discussed options for every window in my 2 story 2,000+ sq foot town home and I never felt pressured to buy. He gave me a quote on the spot and after placing an order, were installed within 2 weeks. Installation was quick and unobtrusive. He even worked around some other tradesmen I had in the house at the same time. My favorite part was more education during install - he shows you how to properly use and maintain your blinds - including how to clean them in 30 seconds :) He even adjusted the two blinds I self-installed at no extra cost. Rob's prices can't be beat - In the end I had a better quality blind professionally installed for LESS than what I would have paid to buy it at Home Depot or Lowes.
It is clear Rob has a passion for what he does and he does it very well. I am SO happy I found him and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has any sort of blind need - be it a single blind or a houseful of blinds. Both his customer service and his pricing are unmatched. Go with Rob! You won't regret it!

This company is a pleasure to work with.  Rob left the sample books so I could see the colors at different time of the day, in the sunlight, cloudy, etc.  That made a big difference. 
The initial quote was quick and once I had actually picked colors and shade style the actual number was almost immediate.
After placing the order I was told about 2 weeks, possibly 3 before they would be delivered.  They arrived in less than 2 weeks.
The installer was very friendly, but got right to work.  He installed shades on 22 windows in a little over 2 hours. 
I would highly recommend CJS Blinds to anyone needing window coverings.

Rob was great to work with. He spent a lot of time with us, gave us ideas and recommendations, including options we didn't know about or hadn't considered. We made our choices wen we were ready. No sales pressure. When the blinds and shade came in Rob returned and installed them quickly, but carefully. We later found several blinds that weren't operating as expected. After consulting the manufacturer he called to tell us they'd be replaced, and several weeks later returned to do that.
The last piece were some shutters which were handled by Buddy, Rob's guy for shutters and also a pleasure to work with. He did all the measuring, made some really good recommendations (as we found out later), and did the installation when they came in.
We're very pleased with the way everything looks in our house and highly recommend CJS Cato Blinds to anyone looking for window/door coverings .

Very quick installation. We met to measure the windows, and there was no pressure to purchase. Once we decided to purchase from Mr. Cato, the order was placed and we had set an appointment for the installation.  The installation took roughly 1 hour for 13 blinds and 1 curtain.  Overall we are very satisfied and very glad we found CJ's Blinds on Angies List!

Rob and his installer Buddy were great to work with.  They were very helpful throughout the process and able to work with our schedule.  We definitely recommend them to all we know.

Josh, the installer, came as scheduled.  He went directly to work and was so professional.  The blinds fit perfectly and we are so pleased with Rob, Josh and the entire process of ordering and installing our blinds.

Rob was great!  He was super friendly, professional and punctual.  He had the blinds up super fast! It was just him but he was in and out in like 1-2 hours and just sped right around, leaving no trace, but beautiful blinds!  He also chose the type of blind that most clients like and ask for due to quality, but he doesn't mark them way up like others.  He is able to keep his costs low, but still works directly with the blind manufacturers.  He was recommended to us by a neighbor who used him for their whole house and we're happy we had him do our blinds too! Best price we found for the same exact product!  He also had great attention to detail.  I saw him go back and make adjustments to one of the windows and I asked about it. He said it was off by just a hair... "See?"  I totally did not see and i am a perfectionist.  Yet he still tweaked it to make sure he felt it was perfect before finishing.  Great guy!

Rob came to our home and showed us his product, measured and ordered our blinds. about two weeks later he came to install them, he had them up in no time and did a very professional job, they look beautiful. He was very prompt, professional and neat, took his shoes off at the door and left no mess. I do all the maintenance and repair work on my home myself, but for his price to install the blinds i decided to have him do it and was glad i did, he had them up in just over an hour and they look great, saved me half a day i could do something else! They all fit perfectly for a custom look.

installed new blinds and removed old blinds and shades. clearly explained maintenance and cleaning of the new products and completed the work promptly and on time. i'm happy with the overall purchase and install.

The experience overall was a pleasant one.

Update: My issues are currently in the process of being resolved and it's an excellent experience.  i will update when done.

I called Robert on the phone to describe the service I needed. The area where the window was located was in a very high place, which only accessible with a special ladder. Robert gave me a pre-estimate of what the cost would be. He came out and took measurements and specifications of color and style. He gave me a date of installation and everything went as promised. Robert was very courteous and professional. I would recommend him to others. As I matter of fact I ask Him for several business cards to give to friends and neighbors.

The color of the blinds needed was hard to match and CJ Blinds new his products so well that the decision was made easier. Confirming the order, payment and instillation were easy. Phone and email communications were convenient and timely. The only reason the 'responsiveness and punctuality' were rated a B was because I was being worked into his current schedule in order to get the best price.

He was very professional and helpful. I only had one blind that didn't quite fit, but he is coming back to do that one. He was very quick and efficient. He is excellent and I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent, Robert really knows the products inside out. Explained all the options & measured then gave us an estimate. The price included installation, flat fee for 10 or more windows. Also, he will only charge for the blinds if we decide to do the door or other windows. Took 2 weeks for blinds to arrive & they were all installed in exactly 1hr. He is the owner & does the installation himself. I was very impressed with the work he did & would definitely recommend his service.

We installed Faux Wood Blinds in the downstairs of our 2 story home a few years ago and never got around to installing the blinds upstairs.  We have had several problems with the blinds we purchased at Home Depot and installed downstairs and thought we would try upgrading to better quality blinds.  This is when we called CJS Blinds and scheduled an in home consultation.  Rob Cato with CJS Blinds came to our house and showed us our different options and measured our windows.  We were amazed at how nice his blinds were and we were very surprised at how competitive the price was.  Rob had an excellent product and seemed trustworthy so we hired him on the spot.  Shortly thereafter, Rob called us to schedule an install date and he showed up on time and completed the removal of our old blinds and installation of the new blinds in a very timely manner.  Rob was very professional and his work was very clean and neat.  Originally we thought we would save money by buying blinds at a big box retail store and install them ourselves but it actually turned out to be way better to hire CJS Blinds.  Their blinds are very nice and safe for kids and I am considering hiring CJS Blinds to replace our blinds downstairs.  

I highly recommend Rob Cato & CJS Blinds! Rob is very professional & honest, but most importantly, he is extremely knowledgeable & skilled regarding his trade. I couldn't be happier with the appearance of the blinds & valances, as well as the quality of the installation. He mounted/installed the brackets on the INSIDE of the window frames, despite limited space (other blind installers had told me that interior mounting was not possible on my window frames). His creativity, adaptability, & skills-set are extraordinary. Rob's prices for the blinds & installation was fair, reasonable, & competitive; however, his knowledge base & craftsmanship are superior to the competition!
