What began as a simple dryer vent job, became a critically important HVAC-related repair, after his willingness to check on our mold and odor issue from our primary air conditioning unit. Net/net: He discovered our problem was with mold and retained water in flex duct work that had not been properly checked and cleaned. He provided us with a comprehensive quote, and quickly got us on his schedule, even though it meant they had to work on a Saturday. He and his crew arrived on time (in fact, 15 minutes before promised) and in one day changed out all duct work. He also returned to our home the next week, to verify everything was properly installed and working, and "tweaked" a few ducts that needed adjustments. Wayne knows his "stuff" and advised on cost-effective solutions (at far fewer dollars) to save on addressing one remaining issue. Lastly, when we had concerns with a faint odor (not caused by their work) he immediately returned the next morning, to ensure everything was working properly. The owner was able to come out and take a look within two days. The owner was very honest and straight forward and quoted me a MUCH MORE reasonable and fair price. Our home is around 50 years old. Ours was a large job - around a month and $30,000. We had Triangle Reconstruction come in after another moisture company provided mold remediation and a humidifier. I wish we’d contacted TR to start with. We provided TR with a structural engineering report. They created a plan to exactly meet all of engineer’s concerns. TR used temporary supports and replaced seal plates, girders, and joists for over half of our home. In addition, they poured footers and built new columns. They also added a few additional girders to firm up our floors. They removed and replaced our insulation.
