"Everybody that came were careful, they didn’t damage anything and they worked their way through everything to get it all completed.  They came, set up, did the work, picked up everything and left no mess or anything behind.  The quality of the work seems to be pretty good.  I am not an expert but I was satisfied with the price.  They coordinated well and were here when they said they would be here."

"The quality and professionalism demonstrated by Rich and his crew was exemplary. I was offered a modest but helpful military discount and it helped overall because i had both my attic and crawlspace insulated. The thermostat has not been touched since the install and the house maintains a cool 74 degrees easily. My energy bill has already gone down."

"I was considering foam insulation for the last two years and got several quotes from different companies but it was always unaffordable till I came across NC foam Pros, the price was very affordable so I decided to try their service on rental home first , The process was smooth , promptly responded to my questions .Had same week appt, and the difference the foam insulation made was very noticeable, the house was old built in 1958 and barely kept heat now it feels very comfortable, so this week we gave them three more jobs and I will consider them for any future insulation job because I can Finally say I found a good deal without surprises"

"Newtonian’s Renovation LLC did an outstanding job repairing the damaged sill plate and joists in my crawlspace. From start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain the issues they found, what needed to be done, and made sure the repair was done the right way — not just patched over. The crew worked efficiently and kept everything clean and organized. The new sill plate and fully-sistered joists look solid and well-installed, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and quality workmanship. It’s a big relief knowing my home’s foundation structure is now secure and protected for the long term."

"Did a great job. Reached out to schedule visit for estimate within minutes of the request. Visited next day, sent estimate by end of day, followed up a few days later. Professional and informative. Had the crawl space re-insulated and fogged for mold at a reasonable price. Would not hesitate to use again."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

When temperatures are too cold, it can keep ice from melting, and products like ice melt and rock salt are ineffective. Water turns to ice in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Ice melts on its own when temperatures reach above 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ice melt loses effectiveness in temperatures below -25 degrees Fahrenheit, and rock salt works in temperatures 5 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer.

Closed-cell foam may come with a higher price tag, but it’s worth the investment because of its strength and durability. This material offers excellent thermal and moisture resistance, contributing to its long life span. Its construction enhances energy efficiency, which can lead to reduced heating and cooling costs over time.

Pipes in your house can freeze after six hours or so if you lose power and temperatures are below freezing. You can prepare for potential power outages by winterizing your pipes with insulation. Also, whenever temperatures drop below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, turn your faucets on very low and leave them dripping until temperatures rise.

Insulating ductwork improves your HVAC system's energy efficiency by protecting the air from external conditions and preventing energy loss as it travels through the ducts. This means your system doesn't have to work as hard to heat or cool your home, leading to lower energy bills and a reduced carbon footprint. Additionally, insulated ducts help maintain a more consistent and stable indoor temperature, enhancing comfort. Proper insulation also improves indoor air quality by reducing the entry of allergens and pollutants and helps prevent problems like condensation and mold formation within the ductwork.

An insulated garage door is a great long-term investment if it’s within your budget. They save energy and give the door year-round usability. In other words, the door pays for itself after a few nasty winters. Most modern garage doors already have a fair amount of insulation, so look into those options if you don’t feel comfortable splurging.
