They were more enthusiastic about selling me a new system . They offered to give me a price break if I purchased a new system within a certain time frame. I told them I would consider it. Fortunately I was able to find another repair person who fixed the unit on site by replacing a few gaskets and a piston. It only took half an hour. Their trip fee was less than Progressiveâ s and thatâ s all it cost me to get my softener fixed. I am updating my review because the owner of the company contacted me and apologized for their inability to fix my water softener. He also sent me a check for a full refund of their trip fee."

"If you have brown water, talk to Action Well and Pump. My water was so full of magnesium and manganese that the county told me not to drink it so I lived on bottled water for 10 years. My clothes were brown (regardless of their original color) and so full of minerals that they were stiff. They would either tell me their system would not help me (at least they were honest!) or would say "sure our softening and filtration system will take care of it for $12K - $15K" until I wanted a guarantee. Finally, I asked Action Well and Pump if they could help me. They had provided repairs on my well, so I had a good opinion of them already. They explained how the Sidewinder worked. No softener was needed. No salt. And it worked spectacularly! I now can have white clothing that stays white. I am so grateful! Also, the cost was a third of what everyone else was quoting me for systems that would not solve my problem."

Unfortunately none of the parts he had worked, calling the manufacturer of my hot water heater he was able to track down the correct part. He was not able to finish the repair that day due to the part being ordered. I was kept up to date by Michelle and she called everyday to update me on the status of the part. Once the part came in Josh came back and installed the new part along with cleaning up the burner and vents. He was able to get it lit and stuck around to make sure it stayed on. He let me know how to keep the area clean so it would stay lit. I just felt like this was great customer service and would call JD Service again for any plumbing or heating issues."
