The plumber reworked the drain piping under the sink in December due to a leak at a connection joint. 3 Months later a connector came loose while the dishwasher was running and water flooded the sink cabinet. I called Dr Drain and was informed it would be 4 days before someone could come out and fix it. I explained this was an emergency, the kitchen sink was inoperable due to the drain pipe being disconnected and I could not go 4 days without my kitchen sink. The person I spoke to did not say they were sorry this happened (it was obviously not hooked up correctly in the beginning) or offer any help in the situation. It is unexceptable for a plumber to not offer emergency services when something they did failed and made the sink inoperable for 4 days.

Dr. Drain Plumbing's exceptional service in diagnosing a leaking shower was impressive, with a remarkable turnaround time of just one day. I originally found them through a referral from Angie’s list and after reading through the large numbers of highly praising online reviews on Angie’s list, BBB, google, and yelp. I can attest that the high praise of all their online 5-star reviews is very well earned. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Drain enough. Their short turnaround time, honest approach to their business, and friendly, helpful team made what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience. If you're in need of plumbing services, do yourself a favor and give Dr. Drain Plumbing a call. They truly deserve all five stars!

Great! They came within a few hours and immediately identified the problem was with the older pipes in the wall. They were clean and professional and snaked the drain. They kept snaking until they found the problem - it was 60 feet down the pipe! Sink works great now.

Very prompt service (next day vs. other local plumbers who were booked 10-16 days out). Quotes provided in advance, so no surprises, extremely professional and friendly plumber provided useful advice on general plumbing issues in addition to quickly fixing all problems at a very reasonable price. We will use Dr. Drain for all plumbing needs in future.

We had to have our bathroom and shower faucets repaired, and Ryan, from Dr. Drain, as always, did a great job. He helped us get the expensive parts needed for the repair sent, free, from Moen, under warranty, as we were the original homeowners. We wouldn't have known this warranty protection was available, much less how to go about applying for it. He did all the work for us. When the parts came in, he did a beautiful job installing the new faucet components and at a reasonable price. We have used this company for years, and the plumbers they send out are inevitably polite, professional, willing to explain repairs in detail, and ever consistent in steering us away from unnecessary repairs. Dr. Drain has a highly competent team with integrity that is hard to match these days. I very highly recommend them.

Outstanding!!! Scheduling appointment with Angie in the office was smooth and prompt. Ryan arrived ahead of schedule and provided an estimate with options. He went right to work and quickly made the repair with the lower estimate. Ryan provides information as he’s working and gives things for us to consider in the future to prevent further damage. Dr Drain has my highest recommendation.

We had a part break in our kitchen faucet just as we were leaving for vacation. We called Dr. Drain on our way to the airport, and they promptly came to our house (our neighbor let them in). The part had to be ordered, so they followed up with us right after we returned and installed it promptly. The plumber Ted, with whom we have worked before, was outstanding. We have used various plumbers in the triangle area before discovering Dr. Drain, who is by far the best in the area for customer service, price, and quality of work. We highly recommend them!

Ryan was a pleasure to work with, very professional, wore shoe protectors inside our home, educated us as he went along, cleaned up & disposed of used parts. Receptionist April was very helpful with scheduling, made sure everything ran smoothly. Both Ryan and April met or exceeded our expectations. Plumber came out, later than scheduled, but things happen so that was not a problem. I asked for an estimate to install a whole house filter that we are planning to purchase. Ryan went under out house to look at our inflow pipes and then checked the water pressure in our house to make sure it wasn't too high for a whole house filter. He noted that it would void any warranty. He found that our pressure was high and left with plans to return the next day and replace the pressure valve, which he did. He did not supply the water filter estimate at that time, but took the paperwork regarding the filter and said he would get back to me with an estimate when he replaced the valve. The next day, after he replaced the valve, I again asked him for an estimate for installing the filter. He said he wasn't sure but he would research it. Two days later, when I did not hear from him, I called the office, again stating that I needed a work estimate for filter installation. That was four days ago. Still no response. As far as I can tell, we got a valve which we may or may not have needed to the tune of over $500, and NO estimate.

As a matter of a fact I did not know this happened until today 6/29/18. I called home owner but the damage has already been done. This is not how things are done at Dr. Drain. This is not normal."
