NEW LEAF LANDSCAPING

NewLeaf developed a plan that included a flagstone path on the side and drip irrigation for the new plants. The crew arrived on schedule and began removing all of the old plants. The then prepared the areas with top soil, relocated the drainage pipes, leveled the ground for the flagstone path, laid out the irrigation hoses, planted the new plants, planted grass along the path and mulched everything. The project took several days, and at the end of each day the crew cleaned up the work area and stored their tools out of the way under the back deck. Everything looks great and the plants all seem to be doing well. I would definitely recommend NewLeaf and would use them again.

I would highly recommend New Leaf.  We have used New Leaf for a number of projects in the past and have been very happy with their service- great attention to detail and pride in their work.  If you are looking for highly professional organization that does top quality work, look no further.  A real pleasure to deal with.  We've worked with other landscaping companies in the past- you might pay a bit more with New Leaf, but the quality and professionalism makes it worthwhile.

They landscaped our yard from 2005-2011 then we moved. The staff was outstanding.

They did an absolutely fabulous and gorgeous job but they are not cheap. The do extraordinary work and they have been landscapers for 6-7 years. I highly rank them. They have wonderful work ethics and their employees are wonderful. They are punctual.

We are extremely satisfied with quality of the work. We struggled with planting, growing grass, the rocks and the general North Carolina landscape for years before reaching out a landscape designer. The landscape designer listened to what we wanted and incorporated ideas that we would have never considered on our own. Now, our yard looks like it could be on a cover of a magazine.

They are pleasant to deal with. They come when they are supposed to come. They do exactly what is in our contract but not any more. I am pleased with them. I some times have to tell them how to do something that they were going to do in a way I didn't find acceptable. I have had other groups do these things over the years and I think they are the best. The price is fair.

New Leaf is an excellent all-around landscape design and maintenance company. I've used their design services at two homes, and their maintenance services for seven years at a second home. New Leaf trains and carefully manages their crews, and they care about their welfare. They work closely with their clients. Rick and Whitney, the owners, are both easy to work with, and dedicated to making sure that the customers are happy. New Leaf uses only quality materials, and they are meticulous in their installation. And it shows.
That said, they are not inexpensive. But you get what you pay for. If you want a gorgeous lawn and grounds, don't hesitate to use New Leaf.

We have a base of $150 and if we have extra things thrown in there, they charge extra for that. They charge per month. The crew is very responsive, they're courteous, and efficient. They come at a set time generally every week. I don't think they're that expensive. They do a great job and everything is always done very neatly and cleanly. Often I'm not home when they come so I don't see them that often but when I do, somebody's always there to respond to questions or concerns.

They faithfully come and do what they're supposed to do. They have made some mistakes that were surprising to me such as pruning bushes at the wrong time and not doing it very well but other than that, they are very reliable and pleasant to work with. You do need to stay on top of what they are doing I think. They are fine with everything except the pruning. They do not do any hand weeding or anything of that sort so if you ask them to pull out the ivy or something, they will charge you extra for that. I have a contract with them which is up for renewal and I will continue with them.

My experience was of an 'A' quality however the price might have been a little high.

job went well but yard continues to have drainage issues they used solid tubes instead of tubes with holes so that the area would not become overly dry it is better than before
and on landscaping end they placed a gar-denier in an area that is too small must be transplanted and the butterfly plant is too big for the area but the area looks better than it did

Wonderful service.

They were one of the few companies that figured out what the problem was. They were good at diagnosing the issue. The repair was done well. I had some other people that looked at it and didn't know the best way to repair it, somebody else that gave me an estimate but then never scheduled it, so they communicated, had people that knew what they were doing.

They did a good job. I was satisfied with their work.

The job was done wonderfully. New Leaf drew up several plans and provided a great deal of insight and input into the final design that we sent to our HOA. The first design was rejected and New Leaf made adjustments and resubmitted the design for us. They were also prepared to speak with HOA if there was a need to do so. Once the design was approved by the HOA, New Leaf began work on building the fence. The work started before the Christmas holidays so it took longer than expected because of employees taking time off but once they got into the work it went rather quickly. They did all of the work onsite: cutting the wood for the posts as well as for the slats in the fence. This allowed them to actually contour the fence to the yard which gave it a far better look. Overall their work was well done. I have received numerous compliments from neighbors on the look of the fence and the landscaping.

They did a good job. They were good. They did what they said they were going to do.

Everything went very smoothly.

As I wrote earlier, I was totally satisfied with Bright Leaf and quality of service and customer service. I will be working with the owner in a couple of months to complete the job. We had to stop only because the weather turned cold. As soon as he can start planting again, the work will be complete and can write more at that time.

They have very good ideas. Their work is very good. They are not the most prompt in returning calls and getting back to you for scheduling. But when they do get there, what they do is very good.

Overall they handled the original installation well. They timed the plantings to maximize plant survival. We got great specimens. They replaced the one that died among hundreds. The drip system has worked well for 8 years.

Currently their weekly visit go well. I can bring up specific issues and they handle them. They explain what they do if I ask.

Our plants look great.

I am very particular about my landscaping. They did a very professional job. I've received many compliments from neighbors and visitors on the appearance of my property. I had one tree that died after planting but New Leaf replaced it with no problems. I continue to use them and would recommend them to anyone. Although I entered March 31, 2010, as the approximate service date, the fact is that I've been working with New Leaf for well over a year. The recent date was approximately when they re-installed my back-flow preventer in the irrigation system this spring. I would have preferred to put down the length of time I've been working with them rather than a fixed "Service Date" but Angie's List doesn't allow that. However, I wanted to wait until I had a full picture before reporting back.
